About this listen

Callyn Silvers is the quiet girl in class, with her nose always in a book. No matter what school she's in, she likes to fly under the radar, and is hoping that senior year, at yet another new school, will be the same.

Enter Zeke Montgomery, Graydon James, Maximus Anderson, and Lucian Harris. They enter Callyn's life like a Category 5 hurricane. All the boys recognize who she is the moment they see and scent her.

She is their mate.
All of their mates.

Information comes to light. Callyn and the boy's futures will be changed. They will bring about a change. A change some do not want to happen.

Contains mature themes.

unfortunately I can't get through the female narrator, its painful to listen to for me. So sad this book seemed interesting. I'll have to read it myself.

I wanted so bad to get through this...

The female narrator's vocal cadence made getting through this book rather difficult. The story had potential, but the character interactions and some situations were so cookie cutter the book doesn't really stand out in the sea of YA books in this genre. I'm not sure if I'm motivated enough to continue with the series, which is frustrating to say the least, I hate starting a book and not finishing it completely.

Slow and anticlimactic

If this is the first of a series, it is a winner first book. If it is not it is still a winner because this author is fantastic! I was caught up in the story as it came back full circle. I also liked knowing what happened to the shifters in that two Century gap in time since the last known Royals death. I am looking forward to more, especially with the same narrators. Great match, great performances!

Joe does a wonderful job as always however the girl reader actually makes me angry because of how poorly she acts out the voice of the characters! she pauses in between sentences where you shouldn't and she is absolutely boring! if this Laurel Schroeder is an actress I wonder if she memorizes her lines and talks the way she does when she reads outloud. "I think....this guy is.....cute! Maybe....We can hang....out." she literally does this!🤯 why would you let her continue to narrate?!

great story

I love that they start out early adulthood and how innocent they are. I cant wait to see their power and love grow as they do

I could not get over the narrator it just ruined the whole book! I tried to listen, but just couldn’t finish it

The narration is horrible

The story line is intriguing. The characters are realistic and young adults. Not a book for readers over 40 as technology is realistically portrayed in the characters life. The cellphone messages portrayal stretches the length of the book but cuts too shortly the realistic time narratives and in between of plots. The female lead portrayed by the narrators readings are precise to the point of irritation. Don’t know why this book is not labeled YA Romance. Irritating dancing around erotic situations, hope the final culmination is worth the build up.

The female narrator is too clipped/precise

I would have liked to finish the book at one time and not have to wait for a second round of books to be written to finish the story little frustrating but overall very good book now on to book 2

story is good

I struggled to finish this story. The story itself is what kept me going and the Male performance was great but the females performance was absolutely awful. I want to read book 2 to continue the story but I'm not going to be able to listen to it.

Great Story Female performance was Terrible

The plot sounds good but they way the female was talking like it was a slam poetry session made me stop listening.
