Particularly as it’s carried though space on the back of a giant turtle (sex unknown). It plays by different rules. But then, some things are the same everywhere. Story
When Michael Moorcock began chronicling the adventures of the albino sorcerer Elric, last king of decadent Melniboné, and his sentient vampiric sword, Stormbringer, he set out to create a new kind of fantasy adventure, one that broke with tradition and reflected a more up-to-date sophistication of theme and style. The result was a bold and unique hero: a rock-and-roll antihero who would channel all the violent excesses of the '60s into one enduring archetype.

Enjoyable but Quirky.
I listened to this story on radio a number of years ago and was delighted to find it here. It is one of those listens that you just have to let it happen and not analyze it to death. It is a fun "Sci-Fi" story.

The original Ruby
This is the original Ruby audio adventure, by ZBS. It is great, with a lot of fun listening, from beginning to end. It is difficult to describe, but maybe something like "'Word Jazz' with a scifi plot line" is close. Or, one could just say that Ruby is a galactic gumshoe - a Good One, and leave it at that. It was originally a full-cast theatrical radio broadcast serial, with music, sound effects. Not a "regular" audiobook. If you are a new listener you will notice updates and reprises between episodes, which is part of the fun, and helpful because there's a lot of action. For all the years that it's been out, it holds up very well, and definitely bears repeating. A true classic.

Campy fun radio serial style
Written by Meatball Fulton this is the start of ZBS Media's series Ruby the Galactic Gumshoe. Sort of Blade runner meets Tomb Raider, Columbo and the Marx Brothers. Endlessly entertaining and delightful. if you like old movies, puns and campy humor this is for you.
