About this listen

Audiobook three of the chart-topping SHTF series is here, and some say it's the best one yet!

It's still the end of the world as we know it for Tucker.

The power grid went down a month ago, and mayhem continues as food is depleted or raided and water sources are running dry. As resources grow scarce, regular people begin to slide into savagery, especially when Tucker and Katie lose one of their own at Tullymore. Without rule of law, justice is the new law of the land, and they fall back to an eye for an eye.

Can Grayson and Olivia hold it together as their group grows larger but one of them takes a bullet?

At Grayson's farm, training is in full force, but not everyone is comfortable with the Wild West their world has become. When one of their own takes a bullet and Olivia is to blame, they must all come together before they fall apart.

Is this really the end of their world as they know it?

The streets are either eerily barren or filled with hunger-crazed mobs. Homes are left with nothing more than blackened stone and burnt-out dreams when the help they thought had arrived does more damage than good. But Fk'n Puck is on a mission to finally be a hero; he'll either survive and persevere or die trying.

Death is imminent, and bullets and blood fill their days as they run like the wind in audiobook three of the SHTF series, a post-apocalyptic thriller packed with action and adventure.

Still entertaining the second time around

Been a few years since "reading" so binged the series again before starting #4. Was as enjoyable as the first time around and even caught a few nuances I missed before. Been some critiques of the characters, the politics, and the writing style, but if you are looking for a good story line, interesting, diverse characters, and some great prepping tips, this author delivers. Ready now for #4.

I loved it, but....

I love the story, I love the characters. This book took along time to come out, I was lost for the first hour trying to remember who everyone was. I hope the next book doesn't take so long. One of the things I love about this series is that you have a long character development. Its nice to get to know them. And Kevin Pierce is always the cherry on top.

NEED TO GET THE NEXT BOOK ASAP

this story is everything and more. its thrilling frightening suspenseful heartbreaking, it has you rooting and crying for all the characters who are so diverse and real. it grips you immediately from book 1.

there are hard themes that are present in post apocalyptic settings making it uncomfortable to listen to sometimes. I found myself feeling for the characters in every scenario thinking to myself "what would I do?" it definitely gets you thinking.

narrator is awesome and adds to the atmosphere setting the scenes for our characters.

get this! you will not regret it!

great story

LL Akers is one of my favorite authors. This is a great story and I cant wait for book 4. one thing I noticed from this one that was different from the first/second is she has not dove into the deep emotions each character was experiencing at a certain time. Sometimes spending a page on ones feelings can be a bit much and I like that she is getting the her point across with less... or maybe I'm just a heartless S.O.B.

Third book in the series, just as good as the first. Always keeps me waiting to get my hands on the next...well audiobook. I love listening to Kevin Pierce tell her tale! He helps, along with Ms. Akers to bring her characters to life! Don't ever stop writing. One of my favorite authors!

enjoying the series

I really like the books, the reader says his "s" really sharply and gets annoying, but other than that. I've enjoyed these book. I wish they could be in a box set

full credit for half a story

it's horseshit that an author will put out three book 6 hours or less and charge you full credit for each one book for 4 hours and it's a whole credit. this whole series should have been 2 credit
