About this listen

Bad boy Rory Kennedy was raised in foster care, bouncing in and out of trouble along the way. He finds his true family and real brothers as a Navy SEAL, one of the navy's elite warriors. When his BUD/S instructor barked the SEAL's motto - "only easy day was yesterday" - he knew he had found home.

Megan Palmer works in a bookstore and finds her passion in life through reading steamy romance novels. Her brief affair with a man she later found out was married has left her damaged. Then she meets the handsome SEAL who stands ready to open her world and give her things she's only dreamed.

On a skiing trip, Rory suffers a possible career-ending injury. He also comes face to face with a past he never knew of and a family who had abandoned him. His relationship with Megan is tested to the breaking point as Rory wades through the dark waters of recovery and ponders whether or not he can live without the life he loves. A homegrown terrorist cell forces his hand, and he discovers his true purpose.

love me some SEALs :D

I read the book and loved it, but listening to JD Hart telling the story made it so much more. He has a way of bringing the characters to life and the story to shine.
Another gripping story in the series I came to love from one of my fave authors. It was intense, I found myself sitting up straight reading some of the scenes, melting at others, the sexy scenes are hot and of course I laughed out loud at some of the familiar banter the team guys dish out. I got the sense of real family and how they rally behind each other in the time of need. I can't imagine growing up as Rory did, of feeling unwanted and I am glad he found his place within the SEAL family and he found Megan, a strong, loving woman to share his life with. Thank you Ms. Sharon for another great story and Mr. Hart for breathing life into it.

Love those men in SEAL Team 3

There was a lot of action, suspense and drama in this book. I was glad to see the men in action. This one held my attention so much more than the last few in this series. SEAL my Home made me remember why I love the SEAL Team 3 series!

"How do you say HELLO?" - WOW!!!

Rory and Megan, Megan and Rory! Oh my!!! Once again, Sharon has captivated my heart with this pair of heroes; yes, both are heroes to me. I like Megan. She is simple, straightforward, and shy yet underneath she is the perfect match for this warrior. She is a survivor! I don't want to give anything way as usual, so you'll have to take my word for it and indulge in the deliciousness that is this wonderful love story. I will say it again; these bad boys are awesome guys! There is also a secondary character I fell in-love with, "Mr. Corrigan". He is weaved in and out of the story and, eventually becomes someone very important to our hero and he grew on me instantly. Once more, I found myself in the fascinating world of the “brotherhood” that are the SEALS and am in awe of the constant reminder of theirs and other military's sacrifices. Here we also reminded of who else sacrifices... the families!!! I know it is a Romance book to most but to me it is so much more, it's whole other world of blood, sweat and tears and an inner strength that I envy and so admire. I agree with Sharon in that she now writes with JD Hart's voice in mind because I really could not imagine anyone else acting out the scenes. Am I just used to hearing him? Well I thought I was, but BAM, BAM, BAM he surprises me again adding juice to an already ripe, more than ready exotic fruit! I cannot believe it is finished and have to wait for the next instalment. Sharon's books are an automatic download/purchase for me, which is how positive I am that I will enjoy the next adventure. Why don't you hop on, open your mind and enjoy the waves?

Love this SEAL Series

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this book. It was a great listen while in the car (by myself that is....my daughter didn't like the sexy bits - and she's 21) but I liked it so that's what counts.
Great story line, loved the characters (love seeing the characters from the previous book show up in this all of these). Nice dialogue and story flow.

Felt sorry for Rory to a point but it all worked out in the end.

Can not wait for more to be released.

OMG I am addicted to this series I am counting the days till the next one is out. great story and after reading this specific one you can see ways the author can explore new ways keeping these guys and the community going maybe into The private sector to be able to handle stuff on the Homeland. =)

Another fantastic addition to the SEAL Botherhood

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to all my friends. This series as a whole is amazing and each installment is as good or better than the last. They are full of action, suspense and romance. What could be better than hott men who take their commitment to each other, their families and their country?!?

Any additional comments?

JD Hart once again does an amazing job of voicing this story. He brings life to each character and just adds something to the listener's experience.

SEAL My Home

Any additional comments?

I have to start by saying I own every book that Sharon Hamilton has written and love each and every one of them for different reasons. SEAL My Home is a prefect blend of what we would expect from one of her SEAL stories. It's filled with action, suspense, romance, emotion and team brotherhood. Rory and Megan are both dealing with emotional issues but remain strong and are perfect together.

When I listen to JD perform this audio version it brings the book to life. He narrates with so much passion and emotion. If I close my eyes, it's almost as if I am at a live performance of this book with actors on stage. He has a way of making each character so believable. JD is by far, my favorite narrator.

Love these SEALs!

What made the experience of listening to SEAL My Home the most enjoyable?

I love hearing about the other SEALs in Team 3.

What was one of the most memorable moments of SEAL My Home?

The skiing trip!!

Have you listened to any of J.D. Hart’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to all the other SEAL Brotherhood by Sharon Hamilton, but SEALs Code, but I will later this month.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, I love that the SEALs will protect those around them.

Any additional comments?

Rory Kennedy has spent his childhood being raised in foster care and being in and out of trouble. He finally has found a place where he feels he belongs, The SEAL Team 3. Megan Palmer finds her passion when she is reading romance books. After her brief affair with a married man, Megan needs to find that confidence she once had.

Once again, we have
SEALs
Brotherhood
Passion
Heat
Family
Suspense
Loyalty
Intrigue
Sadness
Action
Excitement
Death

I love how there is so much action and suspense throughout the Audio. To hear the voices I have grown to love throughout all of the Audios I have listened to before is like coming home.
