About this listen

Sometimes life just doesn't seem to go to plan. With having to make sure the frosts come on time, Eira already has her hands full, then she goes and adds a neighbor she's in love with, a cocky vampire, and a pesky half-summer fae that just won't leave her alone....

As a descendant of Jack Frost, Eira's only job is to make sure the frost arrives on time. Well, not her only job, but her most important one. And when they don't, it's a race against time to get them back. Because if the seasons don't change...well, it's best not to go there.

Saving Eira is a reverse harem story set in the Paranormal Council Universe and the first book in the Fated Seasons series.

Good book

Good book. It is fast paced, but does not feel rushed and ends satisfactorily. I love the set up to the story and the characters.

Very Interesting

I enjoyed Saving Eira! The story and characters got straight to the point. It was fun having Eira and her men all different species. Vampire, Fae, Witch and Succubus and how they all seemed to work together. Good job!

Who doesn't like the Fae

I love that this author is getting her books done on audio. After reading the book and then listening to the audio it helps to understand exactly what the author wanted the reader to feel. The narrator did a wonderful job with the snarky personalities of all the characters

As for the story itself, I love the imagination that the author used to put the descendant of Jack Frost as a main character and have her as also being part succubus. We find out that the neighbor is her best friend Josh, who she has been in love with for a long time, but never spoke about it. There is also a cocky vampire and a half-summer fae that are part of her little harem. You definitely need to read this series to see just what Eira has to go through to complete her task of making sure frost arrives on time.

Great Start!

This was a great start to the Fated Season: Winter series! Eira is a really relatable character (minus being part witch and succubus) because she’s strong and independent, but also isn’t afraid to ask her men for help when she needs it. The connections she has with Josh, Leth, and Reuben are all different and special, but one thing they have in common is to protect her and keep her safe. I can’t wait to read more from The Paranormal Council Universe!
Marina did an amazing job narrating this book! She really brought the story and all of the characters to life. It was easy to tell who was talking and she narrated at a steady pace that was understand.

Unique RH

This has a really intriguing and unique premise. I love that Eira is the descendant of Jack Frost; I enjoyed all the characters. I have previously read Chasing Aledwen and have been wanting to read Eira since then, I really enjoy the Fated Seasons.

Marina Barrett's narration was fantastic. She gave the characters personality. She delivered the sarcasm and humour very well.

My Thoughts on Saving Eira

This was such a good start to a series. And it combined two of my favorite romance tropes. Paranormal and reverse harem romance.

Eira was responsible for bringing the frost every year as a descendant of Jack Frost but she can't seem to this time. That troubling event is combined with three very different men suddenly in her life and making her feel things like never before.

I very much enjoyed this story and look forward to more in the series. I also really liked the narrator. She had an energetic British tone that seemed like a perfect fit for this story. I wouldn't mind listening to her in more stories at all.

Jack Frost in the modern age

I really enjoyed hearing about Eira and her three crazy mates. It's kinda cool thinking about Jack Frost in the modern age especially when you add in the snow flakes. I really like getting to learn about each of Eira's mates and some of their different quirks. It's really sweet how they all seem willing to work together and that they don't seem to be fighting over who's top dog. Marina did a great job narrating and I think her accent gave it a different twist and made for a soothing listen.

Good!

The narration was excellent, the story was good I feel like it focused mostly on the characters and their relationships. I wish the other elements of the story like the overall main problem was rushed and not as focused on as the character development was. I would love more books in the series.

Loved Saving Eira on audio!!

I am loving that Laura Greenwood is getting a lot of her books done on audio, makes me fall in love with these characters all over again ❤️! I thought Marina was perfect for Eira and did a good job with the guy voices (sometimes it was hard to understand what she was saying, I think that was mostly when she was playing Rueben. I thought her inflections and sarcasm/snark was on point haha. Also the guys personalities really shown through with Marina’s performance.

For the story, I cannot wait for more in this series. I absolutely love the guys (especially Josh). I was definitely channeling Eira when she was ready to jump Rueben haha. I also liked the complications with Leth and hope to see him stand up for Eira now that everything is out in the open. I am intrigued to see what happens with these Eira and Aledwen and the other Queens/Princesses. I was surprised the frost thing was sorta resolved already but still want to find out more.

Here’s to hoping these characters start super talking to Laura so we can get more of these amazing stories (she has to go with which characters are the loudest since she has so many amazing stories and characters going on at one in her head haha). Amazing job Laura and Marina, great combo for Saving Eira 😍
