Wonderful

I loved this book. Shauna's words, the depth of her stories, sharing the feelings so many of us have. I'm thankful for this, and so blessed to have read it.

Helps you to savor life

I love her voice and her reading cadence but mostly I love how she helps point out the beauty in everyday moments and associate them with the Lord.

Ps don't buy this is you already read her book Cold Tangerines- it's word for word the same

Repetitive, self focused, food obcessed

If you've read any of her other books, it's basically all the same stuff just rehashed over and over. She has some good points, but is overly self focused and hung up on her obsession with food, among other things, like enjoying being mad at other people rather than choosing to forgive (even though she does point out that it's wrong). There's not really any space for people such as myself who aren't like her. Not a bad book, but definitely not for me.
