Horror Novel Reviews raves: "...A great choice for pretty much any horror reader...fans of Tales from the Crypt, The Twilight Zone, or old-school anthology horror films will feel right at home here. If I were to write a one word review, it would be this: FUN. Pick it up, boils and ghouls. You won't regret it."
Ten twisted tales designed to delight fans of modern horror. Razor-sharp scares and Tales from the Crypt-style mayhem lurk within these dark and subtly humorous stories of possession, obsession, deception and revenge...this is one collection you don't want to miss.
"Unique, imaginative and intriguing..." - Jason Parent, author of What Hides Within
"I have to quite honestly say that this is probably one of my favorite short story collections by a single author...all you could ask for in a collection instead of the same old things over and over." - Nev Murray, Confessions of a Reviewer

The audiobook was very good, with sound effects and different voices for different stories. What was one of the most memorable moments of Screamscapes?
The ending of the story about the molle people was excellent, also the ghost story was really good, too.Which scene was your favorite?
The end of the story about the symbiotic twin sisterDid you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The story about the demon possession was really different. The ending of the curtains story gave me chills, too, the music was perfect. Crawlspace was intense!Any additional comments?
Overall great book and good production values. Some stories I liked better than others, but all were entertaining and widely varied. Was perfect entertainment for long ride in the car.Excellent collection of widely varied horror

Would you try another book from Evans Light and/or Commodore James?
Probably not, this book was suppose to be my cup of tea if I liked King, Hill etc...well it isn't tea, it is swill. What could Evans Light have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Writing that was on par with who the publishers says it is on par with would be a great start. Professional voice talent is another. How could the performance have been better?
Hire a professional!!! I wasted a credit on this garbage!!If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Screamscapes?
Everything right after "this is audible"Any additional comments?
This sucked, the writing is on par with a 12 year old and the voice 'talent' even worse. Give me my credit back!Completely & totally amateurish writing and acting

Would you try another book from Evans Light and/or Commodore James?
Probably not - the stories are moderately interesting, but the prose is turgid (Mr. Light could use a class in metaphors & similes; his comparisons are often absurd) and the narration is flat.Would you recommend Screamscapes to your friends? Why or why not?
No - i didn't finish it myself. As noted above, the stories sometimes had interesting ideas (although some were just silly), but the writing was poor and the narration dull.Weak.
