About this listen

An embedded omega journalist. A hardened alpha SEAL. Best friends on opposite sides of a line that can’t be crossed....

Journalist Colin Church has been through a lot. Through it all, he’s been able to rely on his best friend, Ed. Ed is the single most reliable person Colin has ever known - he’s also been in love with Ed since he knew what love was.

SEAL sniper Ed Adami has a great bunch of guys around him, a good Navy career, and a best friend in Colin he can always rely on - who he’s been in love with that since grade school. But he knows Colin doesn’t want a husband and kids, so he’s kept his attraction a secret.

When Colin gets assigned to Ed’s unit as an embedded reporter, what could have been a dream assignment turns sour when a face from the past brings trouble.

Will Ed and Colin finally air their hidden desires for one another?

In this 80,000-word omegaverse/gay paranormal romance, descriptive scenes of alpha/omega passion makes Seal of Love a story for adults only.

So this is book 3 of this series and I do actually like it and cannot wait to purchase book 4 once I am done with this one.

My biggest issue with this series is the redundancy of the storyline. I freaking love male/male Alpha and Omega stories. However, whenever there is a series featuring these pairings, I would prefer a little divergence. Yes. The theme is normally big strong Alpha falls for the smaller supposedly weaker Omega. But each of these stories in this series are the same. Not that they are bad stories. I enjoy reading stories written by Bates. I don't love all the angst they normally contain but the stories are for the most part well written. I just wish that the Alpha characters in this particular series were not so over the top aggressive jerks.

I am thoroughly enjoying the overreaching plot that started in book 1. I cannot wait to see how it is resolved.

The narrator which has been the narrator from throughout this series is pretty good and although the voices are not different you can distinguish which character is speaking.

All in all good series so far.

I enjoyed this story of political intrigue, SEALS in the Middle East for the most part, with a journalist embedded among them. Colin and Ed were childhood friends who had always felt more for each other but as adults just couldn't seem to get past the alpha/omega dynamics, and being thrown together in the Middle East forces the issue. I liked all of the alpha posturing and action, and would definitely consider exploring more of the stories in this series.

Ed and Colin have been best friends for years and are now thrown together when Colin, a journalist, is given an assignment to infiltrate the SEALs team that Ed is a part of. Overall it was a good story but I felt like Colin also needed to deal with his issues and compromise a bit. It seemed like everything was against ED and he was the only one that needed to completely adjust his attitude and way of being. Just a bit one sided in my opinion. I will, however, keep listening to the series. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. I really enjoyed reading this series and getting the chance to listen to this one was even better. Austin does a great job at narrating the story. I loved Trent and Mal's story and baby makes 3.

I was really hoping to like this more than I did but that being said it wasn't bad either. I had a few issues with the storyline that I never could seem to get past. Ed is by far a total Alpha jerk and if it hadn't of been almost two thirds of the book that he acted that way I may have liked it more. I loved that Colin didn't put with his crap though even if he did forgive him a little too easily for my taste. Overall the story was good I just never really felt the love between the MCs which was first for me. The narration was okay, could have more distinction between the voices as I found myself often wondering who was "speaking".

It was good.

I really enjoyed listening to this fast paced, action packed, grab-you-by-the-feels, emotionally charged, adrenaline soaked, amazing, smoldering, nail biting, keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat, fantastic, and totally awesome twist on your usual shifter, and friends-to-lovers storyline. I must admit to being severely tempted to smack some sense into certain characters, but it all worked out in the end. Austin Jay really brought the story to life, and I would DEFINITELY recommend getting this for yourself.

Honestly not my favorite of the series. I found it a bit repetitive with Ed's issues while completely ignoring Colin's issues. I feel like they were brought up but there was no resolution and maybe if he had explained a bit of his past we could all understand him a little better. Narration was ok but overall I was dissatisfied.

A little one sided

Not your typical Alpha-Omega mpreg. An Omega who doesnt want kids, but is in love with an Alpha who does. Throw them together in a foreign country dodging bullets, terrorists and a baby and it makes a exciting ride!

Great story!
