About this listen

Raine Caldwell and the other survivors from St. Louis thought getting out of the city would be the answer to their problems. They quickly learn that violence and winter’s fury aren’t exclusive to the city.

The group is tested far beyond anything they could imagine as they begin to settle in and survive life without modern conveniences.

Can they adapt to the new world in time?

After finding themselves in a community terrorized by ruthless and dangerous people, Raine and the others in her group must pull together to find justice when one of their own is taken.

Can they pull the community together, or will it be pulled further apart?

Seeking Justice is a gripping tale of ordinary people struggling to survive when everything seems to be working against them. Look for Seeking Hope, book four in the Gateway to Chaos series coming soon!

Good Series

This was a post apocalyptic story about everyday people who are not preppers who use what skills they have with persistence to survive. I did struggle to keep some of the characters straight but the important characters were memorable. They run into slightly more challenges than I would expect but to be fair I expect a lot of people would not be prepared and would resort to whatever it takes to survive. I've completed all of the books released so far (1-4) and am glad I did.

Pretty good story but.....

As usual Stacey's performance is spot on. The book in the series was better than the first 2. However, it still suffers from the same thing that plagued the first books in the series, too many characters. Many times it will be hard to tell who is speaking or who did what. Few of the characters are fleshed out, leaving the rest as seemingly shallow apparitions of supposed importance as their names are mention repeatedly but there is very little significance to their character. Still, the book ended well and I look forward to the last book in the series.
