Leia Stone
Now that her mother is dead, Lilly is the last of her kind.
A Seeker.
Tasked with seeking the lost crystals of Faerie, she must restore her broken and barren world to its former glory.
But the crystals that keep Faerie alive have been stolen by the Sons of Darkness and are hidden on Earth. It's up her to get them back by any means necessary.
She has everything under control and plans to bring the first crystal back, when she meets him - Liam - a Son of Darkness.
He's the most dangerous kind, with black wings that smoke and eyes that have seen death. She must kill him, kill him and take the crystal, but she can't.
He's her soulmate.

An entertaining story that pulled me in!

It sucks that the book had to start off so sad. But I think it will help the FMC be the hero to all. I'm pretty sure this book brought more questions than it answered. So many secrets! I have to know more.
Who is Liam protecting?! What's with the elders? Mermaids? What will happen next?!
Lily is awesome.

Great Beginning

The story and characters lack depth. Yes, depth is built on a character level usually over several novels in this genre but the main character was rushed and basic.
The writing was rushed and it felt like the author maybe left her thesaurus somewhere and couldn't think of any better words than the F word to use over, and over, and over again. Folks this is not a children's book as it is so labeled.
This may possibly be the only fantasy series that I start and don't finish.
The narrator was the only thing that saved it.
