About this listen

Why would God create us with such strong appetites for pleasure if he didn't intend for us to indulge them? Oscar Wilde gets to ask Jesus Christ this question in Ravi Zacharias' fictional dialogue - the second book in the dramatic great conversation series.

Wilde, a witty author and conversationalist, who committed his life to the pursuit of pleasure, is the ideal person to argue with Jesus about this perplexing issue. The two historical figures think out loud about beauty, Blaise Pascal, and the Bible in a sparkling interchange that will fascinate and inspire readers.

Listened to the whole thing in one evening. I couldn't put it down as it were. Great book, on how temptation can stalk us and mislead us to think at it's right hand are pleasures evermore. When it reality there is death and pain. Only through the relationship of Christ do our souls come alive to experience pleasures evermore He has in store for us!
