About this listen

All my life I have served. One lord after another, I have given them my time, my body, and my soul. My newest lord, however, is not one but three.

I have become the anchor to the three Aspects of Fate, the mortal chosen to teach the gods humanity. It seems an impossible task for any mortal to satisfy a god's wishes and I must serve three?

Three lords means three times the frustration, three times the petty demands . . .

. . . and three times the pleasure.

Contains mature themes.

This is one of my favorite book out of this series. It is worth a credit.

AMAZING!

This entire series has been one of my favorites for awhile so I was eager to see the next book but I couldn’t help being hesitant with this one since it was about the Spidae and I didn’t think it would be possible for me to be able to really like them given how creepy they were and not to mention the fact that I am terrified of spiders! But thanks to Ruby’s storytelling magic I was able to like them as a couple and ignore the freaky spider stuff. That said it’s not my favorite book in the series and I would have preferred there were a lot less spiders, but definitely worth listening to.

Recommend listening to the prior books first. Not a stand alone.

Eagerly awaiting the next book the in series!!

I don’t know how she did it

It well written and I enjoyed it, but I think it because I read the other in the series. It not a bad story, just not to my taste.

I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi and paranormal romance cause there usually an adventure along with the romance. There isn't any adventure in this storey, it one girl falling in love with 3 guys. No bad guys, no conflict. It well written and a good story but if you ae like me and want the adventure it not for you.

Well written

A good story in a good series. Loved the way you got to know their story. Really enjoyed the narrator. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

A good story.

I love this book. A lot. I'll definitely be listening to this one several times. Especially when they all come together at the end. 🥵🤤😉😉 there aren't enough books out there that have these kinds of scenes that are so nicely written.

The best one since Bound to the Battle God

I really enjoy this series, but this particular narrator (Ja'air Bush) is definitely not my favorite. I had listened to one of her narrations before and really struggled, but her solo performance was much easier to handle than previous duet. Ruby Dixon did a great job building the characters and concluding the Spidae's story. I would recommend the story, but not so much the performance.

Love the Character Building. Narration is Lackluster.

This was a sweet story and I love the narrator’s voice along with her emotional tones.

Loved the story of the Spidae

She didn’t know if she would be their anchor, but she didn’t like the idea of not being settled. Being their anchor, she realized that they were different from the others. She grew to love them and they also cared for her. Sweet story, but very sexual. Good narrative .

The narrator’s idiolect is difficult to listen to, as she mostly speaks every three words as a phrase. It’s like someone who is out of breath and can only get three word out at a time, and the occasional sentence. It’s very disjointed and lacks the smooth flow of a narration, it feels solely read. Read three words, three more, three more, manage five…she doesn’t use natural phrasing to form a smooth flowing fully formed thought.

I like this series and actually purchased this book. I recommend only listening if in the plus catalog. It was the one I was really looking forward to, but the stunted narration kills the novel.

Some idiolects are just not for my ears, this narrator’s is one such.

I don't typically read menage romances, but I read this because I don't technically consider it a menage romance. Opinions may differ but given the fantasy world presented in this series, that's my take.

With that being said, I was expecting more relationship building in this story. There was definitely some romance but it took a backseat to the smut. The progression of the connection between the characters was kinda odd, with it almost feeling like all the characters lived in different houses and came to visit each other instead of them all living together under one roof.

I was going to give this two stars but I'm giving it three stars because I liked how the MMCs didn't want to influence the FMC at the end of the story, even though they wanted her to stay.
