Stone Barrington takes on a client who gives him a run for his money in the newest heart-stopping thriller from the New York Times best-selling author.

Fresh off the runway at Teterboro, Stone Barrington arrives home to find an unexpected new client on his doorstep, anxiously soliciting his help. But everything is not as it seems when the client reveals the true nature - and value - of his recent turn of fortune.

Great story until the end. I'm glad this seemed to last a little bit longer than the last few books. I'm looking forward to the next installment and loved the introduction of new characters.

Liked this book enough to listen to it a 2nd time years later. Super good listen!

This story is meandering and leaves a lot of open pieces. It's like the author just decided to stop writing. Nothing really ends.

The plot doesn't seem finished.

Loved Tony Roberts as always. Couldn't get into the story. Too over the top for me.

Not one of his best

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Woods has become complacent. This is the second time I have been disappointed in a Stone Barrington book.

What could Stuart Woods have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

It would have been nice if there had been a decent story line.

What does Tony Roberts bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His reading is fine as always. He didn't have much to work with.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Sex, Lies & Serious Money?

Almost the entire first 2/3rds of the book

Any additional comments?

A terrible waste of a good character

Disappointing

Don't know how the author became a NY Times bestseller. Poor story telling; terrible dialogue; shallow characters. What a waste.

Poor storytelling

Continued enjoyment of Stuart Woods stories. I need to start from beginning again. Good, quick reading and listening. Narrator excellent.

continued enjoyment

We started reading/listening to the Barrington stories but I now find they have really become same old same old. Nice voice and you really don't need to pay too much attention and the results are the same.

Same old
