About this listen

The life of a lifesaver.

DocWagon - saviors of the needy, rescuers of the desperate. Willing to go anywhere, rescue anyone, as long as that “anyone” has forked out enough advance cash to justify the effort.

Reporter Amelia Hart has embedded herself with a DocWagon team to see what their life is really like, and she’s in for a wild ride. From an OD’ing celebrity to an aggressive team of hackers, from pesky gangs to an extremely rich and powerful client teetering at death’s door, this night will give the team all they can handle. But will they survive long enough to remember that in the Sixth World, nothing is truly random?

Full of memorable characters and rich Sixth World flavor, DocWagon 19 is a thrilling ride with the people struggling to save lives in a sprawl with a million ways to make people dead. Strap in, hold on, crank up the siren, and get ready for a crazy ride-along through the full chaos of the Shadowrun setting.

a fun play through docwagon

this is a fun story taking you through the night of a docwagon high threat response team's night! all done as an in-universe news report with commercial breaks and all.

A good primer for Shadowrun.

Well done narrative of a Doc Wagon night. Even down to the journalistic aspects. Enjoy

Don't be scared off by the short length!

I will be the first to admit that when I am looking for a new book to spend my monthly credit on, I often stay away from short Novellas. I never feel like I get my moneys worth. Not true with this one.

I love how things build on top of each other. I also fell like I was a member of the audience n her tale listening to her show on exploratory journalism that she did. I even love the commercial breaks that make it feel like you are really part of the world! They mention places and people that are relevant to the story's plot too.

There is a lot to love with this one. I don't often pick up short audiobooks, but I am glad I did for this one.

I would buy more "Stories with Hart".

Especially, about a Shifter and Elf team set in Africa that travels around the world.

Welcome to the 6th world

At first I was worried due to some reviews talking about bad uploads. I am happy to report all errors are fixed and it is the full story! no repeats or missing segments.

the story itself is great. Following some interesting story lines we get to see the drama of doc wagon. I highly recommend it.

Not to shaby...

As a new reader, (or listener), to the shadowrun books I must say this was an action packed title. The narrator gave each character their own life for the story.
Moving on to the next book, see ya when I'm done with that one!

Good story

The positive, the story and narrator were good. I enjoyed the story. The negative the editing was awful. At one point in the beginning I noticed a good 30 seconds repeats part of the story. But then wen part 2 ends which is the end of the story. Part 3 starts which then repeats the last 43 minutes of the story again. Seriously why has no one corrected this mistake yet.

an unorthodox story from the Sixth World

the reader was very adept at giving each character a distinct voice, and more than suitable to the task. the story is an unusual one for the setting, focusing on the corporate and media side of the setting, rather than in the world of the shadowrunners.

Terrible delivery

The editing was awful. This may have been better left as an ebook. the end

Not bad, but clunky

story was good, characters were good if basically stock characters from Shadowrun. my buggest problem was the narrative. The author spent so much time trying to create the prose version of a bad 80s tv news piece that the rhythm of the story was, not quite lost, misplaced? Otherwise good and the voice actor was pretty good too.
