it took a bit for me to get into the story line but stuck it out because i liked the overall concept and the narration was good and glad i did because it turned out ok moving on to book 2

this is a fun whacky action packed series.
the Mc is basically a time traveling Deadpool.
a very funny adventure you will love. I listened to the first chapter of book 1 and instantly bought book 2 and 3, and loved every minute of them

I've listened to this audiobook multiple times. the characters, the narration - it's simply one of the best things i have in my library. this series contains some of the few laugh out loud moments I've ever experienced in books, and it's compelling in a way you can only get when you actually care about the characters. practically every character in the series, by the end, elicits some level of empathy. each book just seemed to get better, and it tied up nicely by the third, which is nice given the recent trend of authors trying to drag on their successful series in an endless parade of mediocre works to squeeze every last dime possible from fans*cough expeditionary force cough*. get it!
