About this listen

OSKAR

After a little mishap in an alleyway with CCTV, my public image needs fixing. Oops?

It might have been a stunt to get the attention of Lane Pierce, San Jose’s new PR manager, but I didn’t realize what the consequences would be when I did it. I’ve got Lane’s sole focus now in all the wrong ways.

He has designated himself as my babysitter, and while it’s fun messing with him, being bound by curfews and rules has never worked for me.

The more I push back, the more I realize what’s really on the line. My career, my future, and maybe even my heart.

LANE

Being appointed head of San Jose’s PR department was a dream come true…until I met Oskar Voyjik.

He may be San Jose royalty, but with the stunts Oskar’s been pulling, the team owner is down to his last thread of patience. Which puts me in the firing line. If I can’t turn Oskar’s entitled party boy image around, we’ll both be shown the door.

I have free rein to do whatever it takes, and it turns out whatever it takes is Oskar.

Only, the more entangled our lives become, the more I see the Oskar he’s buried deep down. The one who hurts, the one who’s sensitive and kind, the one…the one I think I’m falling for.

I can’t have him and my career, and if rumors of the professional lines I’ve crossed get out, it’s not only my dream job I can kiss goodbye; I’ll be disgraced from professional sports completely.

Shamelessly good!

Ok, this was fun, I loved Oskar and Lane’s story and their character progression was really really enjoyable and entertaining. I love the Queer collective friend group and how they all volunteer.
So far these books have been amazing and perfect for my mood

Oskar & Lane

Swoon! Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese continue to do a stellar job through this series. I love reliving these books through their narration. I absolutely loved Oskar and Lane! Honestly, I want to wrap Oskar up in a big hug and watch him play hockey with Lane. When we initially met Oskar I knew there was a story behind his antics. I loved how Lane was able to pull that story out of Oskar. I loved how Lane was able to find the real Oskar and help him bring down the walls that he showed the world, his teammates, and even The Collective. I loved the connection that Oskar and Lane shared. Lane didn’t put up with Oskar’s crap, and Oskar began to see what Lane saw. The chemistry between these two was smoking hot! Holy hotness Lane taking control was *fans self* everything! These two were just so wonderful together and I loved when the pieces fell together for them. It was swoony and left me with a giant smile on my face. This read was just great fun! The Collective. I floved how we got to meet up with the group and learn new tidbits, and welcome in some new members! The cameos in this one was epic. It has made me want to go revisit their stories. I’m so excited to see how then next book unfolds, and cross my fingers for many, many more from this group!

So excited for this one

I was anticipating this one and it is so good! I'm really glad there wasn't a breakup for some silly reason. Narrators were awesome as usual.

Another stellar audio performance with heat and hilarity

As always, I completely enjoyed this next story in the series, but the way this couple snarked and joked with each other was another level. So, so funny, adorable and hot 🔥🔥. Keep ‘em coming!

Loved this book for the sass alone!

This series will always have me entranced and Oskar and Lane didn't disappoint.
Oskar is truly one of the sassiest characters I have ever read. I loved how geniunely funny he was and how hard he made it for Lane not to crack, and yet he still took his job as a hockey player very seriously when he needed to. Also I loved how Lane was so commanding and brilliant at his job, and the underlining sass of this man really meshed well with Oskar.
You would think Oskar would have been the one in control of every situation in this book, but Lane played him like a fiddle, and I loved how well they got along from the moment they met. I thought they'd be like mean antagonistic, but they were definitely more playful. And I think Oskar really showed Lane that he could enjoy the fun aspects of life and not have to take everything so seriously all the time. They just really worked together in this book, especially when they both were ready to give up their jobs for one another. That just solidified their endgame status for me.
A shock for me was Oscar secretly being insecure about his looks being the only reason people care about him and that made me so sad for him. Lane really was there for him to show that his merit isn't based on what he looks like.
The amount cameos from Eden and Saxon's other books in this one really was the icing on the cake of a phenomenal novel. I can't wait for book four and to see the shenans this Collective get up to.

Hockey, heat, humor and FUN!!! Love this audio!

I did not expect to like this book so much!!! I was completely convinced this book wasn’t going to be for me as I did not like Oskar in book 2 BUT I stand corrected as I absolutely LOVED him in this one! Oskar and Lane’s story had such an enjoyable plot as these two opposites created such incredible witty banter, the perfect simmering tension and just straight up fun!!! Another fantastic book in this MM hockey romance series!!!

Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese continue to do a phenomenal job narrating this series! I just absolutely love them for each of the characters in this series! They bring out the personalities of Oskar and Lane so incredibly well in this one and just make it so hot and fun to listen to!! Highly recommend on audio!

It all begins when the star player for San Jose, Oskar continues to get caught up in lots of public scandals and no one can keep him in line. Lane is the PR manager for San Jose and has to take things into his own hands. He becomes Oskar’s new 24/7 babysitter which includes also moving in with him. They are completely different personalities but things heat up quickly and WOW is it hot! Let’s just say, I was not expecting that spicy dynamic between Lane/Oskar but I absolutely loved it!! They both also had some underlying character development to work through as well which just created a story that was so enjoyable to read! Overall, this book is another fantastic story in this MM hockey romance series and is just full of fun, comedy, hockey, and all the amazing spice!!

Also, I am obsessed with all the scenes with everyone from Queer Collective!! It is the group of men from this series and when they are all together it creates the funniest moments and I was smiling nonstop!! Cannot wait to see more of them all together in the rest of the series!!

Oskar & Layne’s story

It’s an enemies to lovers story. I really loved the evolution of their story. Initially Layne is frustrated by Oskar’s wild ways but over time Layne sees the man within. Oskar has been traded from team to team and used public sex as a way to get attention. When Layne realizes that Oskar has never been truly loved and cared for, their relationship grows into true love and partnership.

The narrators are excellent and the authors’ storyline has great depth.

Oskar and Lane

Ugh I was in my feels and I love it! Omg I love them. They were a wild ride and I love seeing their relationship develop. They were fun and their banter back and forth- top notch. I also loved the vulnerability they had with each other and giving each other what they needed. They are precious to me. I also loved seeing more cameos from past books and seeing more of the collective. I cannot wait to start the next book 🥰
