WINNER!!! Christian Book Award 2021 (print)!!!

It’s the most important question we can ask: Who is God? The wrong answer could spell our doom, but God has clearly revealed Himself and His majesty in His Word. Just as Moses asked the Lord on the summit of Sinai, we can approach God’s Word with the ultimate request: “Show me Your glory.”

In Show Me Your Glory: Understanding the Majestic Splendor of God, Dr. Steven Lawson takes us to the mountaintop of divine revelation by distilling the Bible’s teaching about God Himself. Each chapter delves into the depths of God’s awesome attributes, teaching that a deeper knowledge of our Creator can lead us into intimate fellowship with and reverent worship of the One who made us for Himself.

Wonderful!

Great book on discovering who God is from a biblical point of view. All though intense at times this book is not difficult to understand. I highly recommend this book.

An insightful book

This was an insightful book. I would do better with a kindle version instead of Audible. I keep wanting to sing the song “Show Me Your Glory” by Third Day. This book was part of a church Bible study in 2023 but I kept slacking with getting it done.

More Academic than Devotional

I expected something more devotional based on the title, but this was more academic in nature.
The narration was great. I'm impressed by the pronunciation of the Greek and Hebrew words (it's like the narrator either knows the languages or at least cares enough to make sure he pronounces the words well).
But I was a little disappointed with the content. It would be better if the head knowledge of the character of God would be brought more to the heart level.

Opening of Book: Part of the old regime tactics, talks in circles

But meritless single pointed character suggestions for people to grasp nor strive to perfect in their lives. Enough to make an infantile Christian to hate the Christian way and stop reading and stop pursuing such a pursuit.
