About this listen

Frank's back on the bridge, dodging sprawling vines as thick as his secrets, crushing the dark fruit beneath his soles as he flees. He must catch the train.

Her voice traps him. The child he cannot ignore. "I watched you, Uncle Frank. I saw what you did."

He can hear the train's whistle. She clings to him, holding him tight as the horror approaches....

Excellent, Creepy

Excellent, vivid ,creepy, surprising. This story seems much longer than 18 minutes because the principal characters describe so much that has happened before the uncle starts telling the story. The narrator s voice was a perfect fit for the uncle. Excellent writing, excellent narration.

Great listen, wish it was a bit longer. Was just getting into it and it was over. I will be checking out more books by her.

Short and satisfying!

This story was so worth the few minutes it took to listen. most of the time a short story leaves me wanting, while this one did not. The uncle got everything he deserved.
This was a scary little story that makes the guilty want to look under their bed. Reminds me a lot of Edgar Allen Poe.

What Was That

There are so many things happening in this short story that have me wondering what they are and by the time the story is finished, you wind up with a bunch of new questions. That was quite good. I really did enjoy the narrator as well.

Out of the Mouth of Babes

Wow for a short book it tells an amazing story of abuse, murder, and karma. I love it. Jack de Golia did a stellar job especially the voice of Shypoke. I highly recommend this book it may be short but it is a full story. I received this book for free and this is my honest unbiased review. Amazing.

Twilight Zone meets Tales From the Crypt

Eerie, macabre and entertaining! Dona Fox delivers all the scary elements necessary for an engaging horror short story, then found a talent in Jack de Golia worthy to perform it. Kudos!

Vernacular Of The Valley

You will have to listen to the story to get my headline, anyway this was a creepy little short story (only 18 minutes) about a young girl and her uncle, and the creepy little girls accusations, For a short story I think this was very well written, and that is usually hard to pull off, to be able to pull readers into the story. The narration by Jack de Golia was well done....I was provided an audiobook code at my request and this is my voluntary review
