Publisher's summary

In this gripping novel by Amazon Charts best-selling author Ellen J. Green, the past is not a place for forgiveness…but for revenge.

Ava Saunders’s memories are the things nightmares are made of. Only three years old when her mother was murdered and her father disappeared, Ava’s been living to avenge the past--and eliminating anyone who comes between her and the truth. Off the grid and on the run, Ava has fled the United States on a willful mission: To seek out those who adopted her and find the blood relatives who abandoned her. Whatever the risk.

To do it, Ava needs the help of the only two people she can trust with her secrets: Detective Russell Bowers and her reluctant best friend, Joanne. Together they set off on a journey down Ava’s dark and twisted history that reaches from Italy to the jungles of Vietnam and to Paris for a chilling family reunion and a final reckoning.

For Ava, as a lifetime of betrayal, murder, and revenge comes full circle, even redemption comes with a price.

interesting

story was good and it kept me guessing who did what. lots of plotting and backstabbing, killing and lies. the ending brought to mind the saying, "what a tangled web we're weave when we're practice to deceive. " overall good read.

Great story.

Definitely gonna have to listen to this again. It’s hard to follow at times. I wish the chapters were titled with the name of the person speaking. It’s a great story though. Also I wish the book titles reflected what book in the series it is. I almost listened to them out of order.

Too unrealistic

I finished this series but the story was just too much. I don't want to give anything away but the hospital scenes were the worst.

The first of trilogy was

Mesmerizingly good. Second fair and third … well not that good at all. Author dragged the tale into too many directions, introduced characters with French and Italian names pronounced with their own dialect .. which is ok
My feelings about the trilogy is like soup, can have the best ingredients, simmered well then left to simmer until all taste is gone. This soup isn’t worth the eating

All the secrets revealed

This is the 3rd and last book in the series. This book found Ava continuing to search for answers from her past and find her dad. There were several people jetting all over the world trying to help find those answers. These really need to be read in order for them to make sense. Finally all the secrets, lies and family drama are revealed. Ava finds the answers she was looking for and more. Lots of action.

Great trilogy!

Loved it! This book ties all 3 books together in the very end. Lots of twists...I thought I could predict the ending but I couldn't. This author is so great at writing mysteries you can't figure out. Narration was awesome. Ive truly enjoyed every book! Well done Ellen Green!

Twisted!

I really enjoyed the atypical characters and plot to this story. No innocents in this series (except maybe one).

Meh

Could not finish this book. I dislike every character. Lots of annoying accents. I do not recommend.
