If you could sum up Silks in three words, what would they be?
I have read every Dick Francis book and enjoyed 95 percent of them. Felix's efforts have been decent attempts at emulating his father's style. But they were just not the same. This one really hit the mark of what I have come to appreciate about the Francis novels. I have been to Cheltenham several times so I love when the festival meeting is part of the story. As with typical Dick Francis books this had a teaching moment on other subject matter (British law in this case) and I learned some things I didn't know. Very good twisting plot included made this a pleasure to read.Felix Getting Better.

Having met Mr Francis at a racecourse in South Africa many years.ago I have always liked his books and after that they took on a bit of his personality as he was such a gracious man.
