Any additional comments?

This book is perfect for the holidays. The stories span a wide variety of genres, everything from historical to science-fiction. There's something for everyone to enjoy! I also loved that each story is fairly short, about 10-15 minutes probably. The holidays are always such a busy time, but these snippets of cheer are the perfect length to fit into the busy season. 3.5 stars raised to 4. I received a free audible copy in exchange for my honest review.

What did you love best about Sing We Now of Christmas?

The variety in the stories--the scenes, the settings, the genres. It's a really fun mashup.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. I like advent-type books, so I enjoyed spreading out the listens.

Any additional comments?

This is such a fun, bright listen. The stories are varied and delightful, ranging from tender to quirky, and the genres run the gamut, including (for example) romance, women's fiction, sci-fi, and tall tale. This book is family-friendly in that it's clean, but younger children won't get some of the stories or jokes, so this might not be your nightly family listen. Better to sit and sip a cup of something while unwinding under the Christmas lights.

A very solid holiday read. Definitely recommend.

What made the experience of listening to Sing We Now of Christmas the most enjoyable?

Such a fun and varied list of stories.

I'd heard a little bit about this title but not more than it was a series of short stories inspired by Christmas carols. It's set up like an advent calendar, so you can read (or, in my case, listen to the audiobook) and have a different story for each day leading up to Christmas Day. I will listen to this again next year for sure.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

What a delightful treat it was.

Delightful Christmas Read!

All the writers are Mormon storytellers. Disappointingly predictable and boring. Audible should be able to do better.
