Not bad

I really like the repetitive messaging, but I found it difficult to fall asleep with the word bombardment. Really good if you make it part of a playlist with soothing sounds first to drop you into trance/sleep.

Excellent

Dick Sutphen has been a favorite of mine since the 80's and I love his voice and presentation. One of the original developers of the audio meditation methods, he is simply superb. This is a series of meditations, about an hour each, on different themes of being a high achiever. If you don't fall asleep by the end of the first one, you can continue right on the next one. Usually, by the end of the second one, I'm out, but it's reassuring to know that my subconscious mind is still registering the positive messages from the recording.

Easy to listen to

I've been listening to it every night for about a week, before I go to bed. Can't tell you if it works but I do know that I'm having good dreams and feel refreshed in the morning when I wake up. It appears to agree with my
subconscious.

It works

Continues to put me to sleep, even after several consecutive uses. What's more, I seem to have more confidence. It's hard to pinpoint that this is the sole reason for my increased confidence because I do use a lot of other personal development tools as well, but this is the one I have used most consistently in recent weeks. It seems like the changes I have seen in myself do align with the timing of my use of this program, so I am inclined to say it works.

motivating

this is the first time doing a book review but I loved listening to this... it helped me fall asleep quickly. I had court today and I'm usually very anxious and nervous, and falling asleep and waking up to this, made me feel confident, strong, not one but nervous or anxious.... this was only on the first night I can only imagine what my life will look like next year.... if you allow this to help you, it will... like alll kinds of different methods of self help, it can only help as much as you allow it to...

Not For Me....

Would you try another book from Dick Sutphen and/or Dick Sutphen?

No.

Would you be willing to try another book from Dick Sutphen? Why or why not?

Not sure, I would have to be really interested.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I just don't like this guys voice. It was weird the way he spoke.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I experienced seven different dreams, and at the end of each dream, I woke up. When I fell back to sleep, I entered another right away. The dreams where really weird, like I was on an acid trip or something!!! I didn't get any sleep, and I felt absolutely awful the next morning. I could not concentrate on anything, I was so out of it from the lack of sleep.

Any additional comments?

I read a lot of good reviews that led me to purchase this audio book.
From my experience however, I would have to say, this is not a "one size fits all" type of thing. My intentions are not to discourage anyone from trying the audio out, my experience was, my experience! . But, I would just say, keep an open mind, try it if it sounds interesting to you, but don't expect the same results as others. Our brains are wired very differently, what may have worked for one, may not work well for another.

Excellent Find!!!

Where does Sleep Programming High Achievers rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the first sleep programming audio I have used, so I do not have much to compare to. However, in relation to audio programs in general, top 10 for sure.

Fell deep asleep
