OMG!! I am so happy to have listened to and read it at the same time because I had to have both experiences. This was such a cute romcom involving reversed age gap (done so well and beautifully in my opinion). There was the funny, witty, and sexy banter, the wonderful characters and their development, and of course, the plot twist that sure adds to the drama. I can't wait for the next book.

Well, wow! I have never read a book quite like this one. The premise was unique & interesting. It overall had a very indulgent / delicious sort of appeal between the sex & the baked goods & cocktails & the plot. I liked the writing style and the characters. The narrator on the Audible version had an amazing sounding voice and did a great job with all the different character voices and scenes. I felt like I was right there!

This was a fun listen! The storyline was engaging, and the characters perfect for a trip into romantic escapism. I love that the age gap was reversed and believable with it.

I was extremely tempted by the concept of Slice of Temptation. Childhood sweetheart cheats on you when you’re a teenager and has a child with another woman. 25 years later, that same child becomes your boyfriend…except you don’t realize the connection.

Can we say D.R.A.M.A??? Yes, please.

There was plenty of drama, spice, and heat between Rylee and Chance and their connection was instant. Despite the age gap, they felt pretty equal to me; almost like Chance was an old soul…and Rylee was emotionally stunted due to trauma when she was a teenager.

Slice of Temptation was a little too much back-and-forth at times, but I was still thoroughly invested into the characters and their outcome. Chance’s pets were maybe my favorite parts, but I really couldn’t resist the angsty connection with Chance’s father and how everyone discussed and grew through that.

I read this ebook when it first came out. When I found out it was on here, I nearly lost my mind. There was absolutely no way I wasn’t going to download and listen!

Reading this book is one thing. Hearing the words, and all of the emotions behind everything Rylee and Chance said to each other though?! Ugh. So. Dang. Good! This narrator’s voice is absolute PERFECTION for these characters!

There really should be more reverse age-gap romances out there because this sh!t is scrum-dilly-umptious. Not only that, but he's the son of the man who broke your heart? Talk about the ultimate cosmic payoff. 🙌

The story was so sweet, and the romance was incredibly hot. D.L. Darby is definitely making a name for herself in the "make your toes curl" genre. 🥵

I only with that we would have gotten a closer look at the development of the relationship between Rylee and Chance, rather than a jump forward. But either way, I still adored them.

I can't wait for Sadie and Tyler's story!

I did a re-read with the recent audio release, and it held up! Juniper did such a great job narrating both POVs. Both her male and female voices were fantastic. 🤌🏻💋

Audio books aren’t always my jam, simply because I get easily distracted and have to rewind important parts. However when I heard Chance and Rylee were making their debut, I couldn’t miss it.

Juniper did amazing. She captured every single characters trait and just made me laugh with Birdman and Birdie, and cry at all the right parts. Absolutely recommend, even if you aren’t normally an Audio book person!

This story is soooooo good. Having previously read it, I was looking forward to listening to the audio. I don’t usually read books again (or listen) but this story is so good, I just had to!

I love the chemistry between Chance and Rylee and the narrator did a phenomenal job with the voices and emotions of each character.

And can we just highlight Tyler & Sadie!! I can’t wait to listen to their story too!!

This would be great to listen and read together!
