Good for me.

I thought it was a good book ro listen to.Just so happens that i am studying to take my pre licensing exam for life insurance. I learned some .

I would read it again.

This book contains a myriad of good advice for potential and current insurance agents. It also offers guidelines to follow as well as sources of outside reference. Although the without references P&C insurance and I am a L&H agent I can still relate to much if this book.

A must read for new insurance agents.

Don't let the beginning of this book fool you when discussing how to run a successful insurance business. Even for the independent insurance broker/agent, this book provides valuable advice on how to be successful as an insurance broker/agent at whatever level you may be in.

Great book on planning for a successful agency

I loved this audio. I am buying the book for my library. This is exactly what I needed to plan for an agency that can run even when I am not in the office.

Inspiring and Motivating.

This is certainly not an "anyone can do this job easily and succeed without effort" kind of message! Mr. Hastings gives advice, tips, motivation and support, while at the same time conveying the real time, energy, sacrifices, and real work involved in starting your own agency/small business.

Most of the information can apply to any type of business or industry: recruiting, training, managing, tracking, closing, client and employee retention, and good old customer service! Meanwhile, remembering to take care of one's personal relationships and physical/mental health, which is crucial for true success.

He also provides industry specific tools and information for anyone to use when becoming an insurance agent.

Mr. Hastings has given anyone who is considering this venture everything he or she would need to begin with eyes open and armed for success!
