Publisher's summary

Solar Salvation: book three of the Solar Flare series. Post-apocalyptic survival fiction.

Immense solar storms send deadly masses of electrically charged particles that strike and devastate the Earth. The grid is down, the supply chain is nonexistent, and billions are dead. Monty is lucky to survive in a safe room with family and a few strangers. Traitors to the USA have also detonated massive nuclear bombs resulting in major loss of life and a new West Coast shoreline. Nevada has become too hot due to the increased solar activity and attacks from Sloan's gang. To top it off, the Cartel is about to turn on Monty's team. Monty and Hank have difficult decisions to make. Finding a new home in a better environment plagues Monty and Hank.

The narrator kills it

Story is ok, although the dialogue is weird. The narrator and editing is bad though. At one point around Chapter 26, a little over 5 hours in(I think), he stops in the middle of the story and says “F*@& Off” and goes back to the story. You can also hear him correct himself for mispronouncing a word and the voices are also bad. Hope there is a new narrator for the rest of the series.

Not good

The dialogue written between character is cringe worthy. Nobody actually talks like that. Maybe it’s the narrator but I couldn’t listen to it. Also the story doesn’t flow. I stuck with this series but I won’t continue.
