About this listen

Miranda Parker’s acclaimed debut introduced sassy bail recovery agent Angel Crawford. In this second tale, Angel is back, and though this brainy part-time sleuth’s been ordered to take a vacation, she’s not slowing down. Determined to catch the killer who murdered her fiancé six years ago, Angel tracks the cold case into the depths of Atlanta’s hidden speakeasy society. And the case isn’t the only thing heating up - sparks are also flying between Angel and a suave U.S. Marshal.

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. I do like consistency and found one thing wasn't following the storyline. At the end of the book Riddick told Angel he was going to tell her about the flowers, but them Shawn died and etc happen . But the flowers were given to her way before Shawn and all the craziness. I thought it would have more romance other than just kissing. I can't wait to hear the rest of the story. It had a great storyline. I bet Riddick and Gabe are one and the same or working together. I did read or listen to the first book, but I have my theories. I can get a good read on Justice and don't know if he will be good or bad in the next book. Because, who paid the killer not to kill her even though the plan was for her to die that night.

great!!!!
