About this listen

"After everything blew up on Christmas, Liz walked away from me, and I let her. She said she needed space and a chance to pursue her dreams. But we both knew she was running from the mess she made. Now the political campaign she used as an excuse to leave is bringing us back together, and I'm proving to her what she really needs - not just the hot nights, greedy hands, and undeniable physical chemistry. What she really needs is something real. What she really needs...is me."

A great story and narrators are awesome

I loved the hot scenes but got frustrated by Liz being helpless most of the time in getting to straighten things out faster.

just something

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I'm sure some may have liked this book, I read reviews for both sides. I read the first book and knew it was extremely "Peyton place" but like a bad soap opera and with its cliffhanger ending I gave this one a chance. I think it could've been one book. A lot of the drama could've been left out. It was just too over the top.

Would you ever listen to anything by Lexi Ryan again?

I have in the past but who knows anymore.

What does Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The are both frat narrators that made the book tolerable. Except for tyler donnes female voice.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I said it before and will say it again, there was just far too much drama. I understand getting lost in fiction, but even in a story there has to be a breaking point. They're together, they're not together, and back and forth. When they were together it wasn't good, when they were apart, they were together, when they were together, they were apart. No one can be that hard up for a guy, or maybe they could, but they'd have to be an idiot.

Any additional comments?

I'm one of those readers that have a new book every other day. Some good, some bad, some just okay. This was one that had me irritated the entire time. I think it's frustrating to buy a book only to be disappointed, I was very much so.
