Publisher's summary

What’s worse than getting snowed in with a sexy stranger? Having it be the one person you can’t stand—and there’s only one bed.

I don’t hate Preston Roberts, but I also don’t see what all of the craze is about with the women in Whiskey Creek practically drooling over him. Is he good-looking? Sure. Does he treat others with kindness? I guess so. But none of that matters because he is exactly the kind of guy I need to avoid.

I quickly realize that it’s hard not to get to know him when we’re stuck together, riding out the storm. The more we hang out, the more I realize he’s not as bad as I thought. And sure, he is kinda hot. Okay, really hot....

As I start to lower my walls, I find that he’s raising his. I try to remind myself that it doesn’t matter because I’m not looking for a relationship. As much as I want to convince myself he’s not the right guy for me, I can’t stop thinking about all of the reasons he just might be. I also can’t ignore how that seems to scare him more than it does me. We may be forced to survive the storm together, but will we walk away with our hearts still intact?

Adorable, funny, & steamy!

The second book in the Whiskey Mountain series brings us back to small town life, Spill the Beans, familiar characters and some new faces. Ramona and Preston don’t necessarily get along but when a snow storm hits with a little forced proximity, one bed, and 2 dogs things can change real quick.

Another great book from Samantha!

This is book 2 in Samantha Baca's Whiskey Mountain series and is perfect for someone who likes shorter books while still having all the feels. It is loaded with funny moments that will have you laughing out loud and sexy moments that will have you fanning yourself! I love Ramona and Preston together and when a snow storm keeps them trapped together lust and emotions run high. What will it take for them to knock down their walls and allow themselves to admit what they want? Thanks Samantha for another great story! Narration done by Jaime Carnucci. She did a great job bringing the story to life!

What a snow storm

I really enjoyed listening to Something to Think About. It was entertaining as you get to know Ramona. I got a glimpse of Ramona in Something to Talk About and was excited to get to read her story. Such a fun and unexpected story with characters that just grab your attention. Ramona has her heart closed off after her last relationship and easily irritated by “the symbol of a fucking sex God”, Preston.
Preston is afraid to open his heart again after his past, is intrigued by this little firecracker. Forced to live together due to snow storm. The weather outside isn’t the only thing these two have to worry about🥵 Definitely recommend this one if you enjoy forced proximity, love/hate, and hot sexy.

A beautiful short and sweet read!

I have been dying to read Ramona’s story. When she leaves her BF in book 1 I was devastated for her but fate showed her that in the end she was better off. Preston is the perfect person to fit into Ramona’s world! They were not love at first sight but over time Ramona realizes that there is more to the sexy Preston and they have more in common than either realized!

The narrator did an amazing job voicing the many characters. I have a hard time with audio books when the woman tries to hard to sound manly but this narrator did such a good job and made the book enjoyable!

Perfect for snowed in dog lovers!

I love a good forced proximity one bed situation and if you do too, don't pass this book up. In book 2 of Samantha's Whiskey Mountain novella series, we meet Ramona, who is our feisty FMC and Preston, our smart and attractive MMC. Lucky for Ramona, Preston knows all the right buttons to push to drive Ramona wild, which is a good thing for both of them.

Ramona owns a local pet store and Preston is given a puppy by his mom who has decided she couldn't take care of it. A blizzard is coming to town, and Preston thinks he has just enough time to get to the pet store, get food, and get back before the blizzard hits and he's stuck inside for who knows how long. Let me tell you, those Whiskey Mountain blizzards take snowed in to a whole new level.

This story is short, but don't let that deter you. Samantha doesn't make you feel like anything is missing while also giving us another great novella.

THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You enjoy spicy novellas that don't lack on spice or details, and a feisty, sassy FMC.

YUM!

Something To Think About is book #2 in the Whiskey Mountain series. It can be read as a standalone and there is no cliffhanger. I was so excited to get Ramona's story. Her breakup was such a shock from book one and it has left her questioning herself. Preston is the hot new guy in town who keeps running into Ramona. He's fighting his own issues from his past and his aversion to commitment. He's a dirty-talking computer geek that sets Ramona on fire like she's never felt before. Once again, I felt like I was listening to a story of my own circle of friends. And there are so many cute pets, too! Now… poor Dylan! I can't wait to see what's in store for him!

The narration was good. I'm partial to dual narration, but the narrator hit it out of the park with voicing ALL the characters!
