Interesting

I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. The story was low key and wound around the lives of a family that had a secret and was only discovered after the death of the aunt. When the story was complete it turned out pretty good. The narrator was good. She did not push the story too fast,

Real Life

I Loved this audiobook. What a great story it was. Trish Munro, shares a townhouse with her boyfriend Eric, who is hoping to take their relationship to another level. Trish, however is still gun shy after coming out of a short lived but abusive marriage. Trish knows that Eric is the kind of guy that most women dream about and doesn’t want to lose him, but she has a lot on her plate at the moment. Her mother had passed recently and now she is the caregiver for her aunt Heidi, whom she has had to place in a care home due to Alzheimer’s. Trish spends many hours of quality time with her aunt as she swings in and out of clarity. During her visits she uncovers a few long buried family secrets which explain why Heidi’s son has little to do with his mother. The story touches on a few difficult subjects, but was done beautifully.
