About this listen

Hearing rumors of a "leg bone of the wolf" being used as an artifact of the Church to showcase its power, Lawrence and Holo head to the site to gather more information. Holo can't just turn away from what might be a relic of her own kind, after all. Of course, upon arrival, the travelers find that the town is the center of a giant trade dispute! Seems that Col will be getting a lesson in microeconomics!

Keep Making Em

Love it. Keep going. I'm enjoying the journey with these characters. I can't wait untill the end. What scares me is that your not going to make all of them.

Holo shows some interest in Lawrence.

This book was much shorter than the others. I wish it was longer. it was nice that Holo finally started showing interest in Lawrence as a possible companion beyond their professional contract.

A couple at last and normal complications

Was nice to see Lawernace and Holo starting to get along more as a couple, granted maybe a difunctional one but a couple. Lawernace bad luck of being dragged into situations beyond his ability kind of messes up the ending of the volume.

fantastic story, incredible characters, and compliments to the amazing narrators who also are the English anime dub voice actors.

Poorly Paced Cash Grab

It's nothing different from the previous 7 volumes except for one thing that really peeves me. I see where it says "Part 1" just fine. I've read plenty of "Part 1"s elsewhere. But never has a story so brazenly been lopped in half for the sake of selling it in two parts. S&W volumes are already typically too short to fully justify the price/credits, but the" climax" of this volume would literally be the beginning of tension build-up at the halfway point of the average novel. The book ends so abruptly that it's actually jarring. I've seen anime filler episodes that respect your time better than this specific volume did.

Part two comes out in a couple months. What they should've done was just hold off and release it as a full volume--easily their most epic one to date in terms of time (and value). Instead, all I can suggest is waiting for part 2 to drop and pick up both; if you're gonna pay twice for a single story arc, at least allow yourself to binge the entire thing in one go instead of having to wait.
