About this listen
Experience anew three of Saint Paul's most powerful letters.
Now, you have the chance to gain new insight into the power of Saint Paul's epistles. Carefully designed and expertly delivered, First Corinthians, Second Corinthians, and Galatians, mini-courses on three of St. Paul's most captivating letters, will deepen your understanding of scripture and the early Church. Galatians and 1 and 2 Corinthians continue to help us grow faithfully today as they helped others grow in the days of Paul. These letters explore issues and questions about everything from divisions in community, morality, marriage, Christian ministry, and first-century Christian life. With this set of nine lectures, you will understand the Paul the person, Paul the teacher, and Paul the minister. Did you know that Galatians is often called the "Magna Carta of Christian liberty" for its vital proclamation on Christian freedom and its imminent influence? Paul's Letters to the Corinthians are likewise of immeasurable importance and contain such timeless aphorisms as "And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love" (1 Cor 13:13), and "for we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Cor 5:7).
Fr. Witherup will explain all of Paul's extraordinary letter writing and ministry, while clearly focusing on these three very special letters. Through this unique set of audio lectures, you will come to know and understand Paul and his writings as never before.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Outstanding presentation!
Fr. Witherup's well-organized lectures demonstrate his deep knowledge of early Christianity and Paul's ministry. Although I had read these text many times, I gained new insights and a fresh perspective on both their original intent and their continued importance, up through our own times. Fr. Witherup is both expert and highly engaging.
