About this listen

The center of world power has just been jolted when the vice president of the US is poisoned to death. During the ensuing investigation, FBI Agent Tim Lane discovers something that will send shock waves around the globe.

Meanwhile, on his way back to Stanford, college freshman Ryan Lane accidentally takes his brother’s duffel, his secret duffel. Suddenly, a swarm of assassins, terrorists, and rogue federal agents are after what Ryan has and what he may now know, propelling him into a desperate search for his brother, who has mysteriously disappeared.

Before time runs out and the unthinkable happens, Ryan must unlock the clues hidden inside the duffel and unravel someone’s diabolical plot to take over the White House. The race is on.

Stars & Stripes: The Alpha Spy, Volume One, is the debut novel in the Alpha Spy series. Also available now are the next three titles in the series, including The Intern (The Alpha Spy, Volume Two), Alpha Bravo (The Alpha Spy, Volume Three) and Alpha Zulu (The Alpha Spy, Volume Four). The fifth installment in the series is scheduled for release in 2018 - The Alpha Cipher.

I am so grateful to you for listening to Stars & Stripes, and if you like JFK conspiracy theories, I think you will really enjoy The Intern. Whether you think Oswald did it or believe others were involved, you can immerse yourself in what really may have happened back in November 1963 by listening to The Intern.

I am not normally a political thriller kind of reader, but this book hooked me right away. I think it is because of the likable main character Ryan. He is a humble but also a hot shot and smart. I like the way the author wove in facts with the fiction.. The story moves fast and is both fun and nail biting at times. There is a lot of information and a lot of characters to keep track of which was some times hard to follow, but the story and the narrator kept my attention through to the end. As soon as I finished volume 1, I immediately bought volume 2. I also want to give a shout-out to the narrator. His voice is very commanding and he has good character definition. I like that this is a series and look forward to reading them all!

Loved the book! It’s connection to politics made it that much more interesting. Great storyline. TK Kennedy’s writing talent, painted a picture/scene so visual it had me staying in my car many times, when arriving at work, home or wherever, to listen just a bit longer, not wanting to stop. Can’t wait to hear the next in the series!

Had a very interesting storyline with many twists…I was skeptical at the beginning how it would all be tied together but well accomplished! The beginning was a little slow with the groundwork being laid but worth it! I recommend this “read” to anyone who enjoys a good mystery thriller.

What is the word I'm looking for? oh yea...CRAP! This something coming out of a high-school creative writing class. And not th A students. If you thought The West Wing was real, this book if for you. Chalk full of liberal policies that have saved the earf, just because they want them too.

Unbelievable
