Jordan

Lacey was the one person I could never have. She was off-limits in every sense of the word. I went to my family's lake house and found her in the guest house. Little did I know she asked my father if she could spend her last free summer in the one place she adored.

That summer the devil tempted me, putting forbidden fruit right in front of my very eyes. I did such a good job at keeping my distance until the night of her 18th birthday. She was officially a woman, and there wasn't another reason to keep my desires at bay.

That was years ago.

I've watched her graduate from college, gain an internship at Steele Enterprises, and blossom into a sinfully divine business-oriented siren.

What we did that summer could've turned into something more. Now that I've seen everyone else in my family find their own happiness, I can't help but wonder what if?

I'm just uncertain if Lacey will accept me for my darker tastes. It has been years, after all, and with time comes new desires.

Bland

This was the start of a good thing. I was kinda confused and then the performance made me want to hit something. Even I have at least five voices I try to remember when i read a kids book. He didn’t even soften his voice for the female. The performance should’ve just spurred on the female actress. Sorry Jason, you made me sad. I know you have done better.

Jordan and Lacey

A deliciously dark, thrilling, and captivating journey to go on with Jordan and Lacey. This was action packed, exciting, and intriguing. I enjoyed every moment of this story.
Once Again, Jason Fella was absolutely fantastic. Love how he takes on both male and female characters. He doesn't try to change his voice and that is ok, he keeps you engaged.

Steele Her Heart

This is book four in the series, but you can listen to it without being lost if you are not familiar with the other books. You will enjoy it more though if you have knowledge of the characters in this world. This is Jordan and Lacey’s story. The two have always been attracted to one another and had one night together that neither of them forgot. When circumstances bring the two closer together their attraction cannot be denied but will outside forces pull them apart forever?

This is a very fast paced story that jumped quickly from subject to subject. It felt more like an outline than a full book. There was no real depth to the characters or the situations that they found themselves in. Much of the plot was rushed through and does not pull the listener in. Lacey is portrayed as a strong woman but the main thing that she hides does not make sense for her character. Jordan and the other brothers really seem like rich men who get what they want because of their money not because of who they truly are. These characters try to be alpha billionaires and mafia kings, but it just did not work for me. For all the talk about the main characters attraction I did not feel it at all. Narrator Jason Fella keeps the story moving at a good pace, but I felt that the emotions were lacking and with no changes in the voices. I felt that it was more of a bland listen making it hard to get lost in the story.
