About this listen

In Curated True Crime Volume #11: Still Unsolved you'll learn about some of the most vexing unsolved and cold cases involving brutal and mysterious murders. These victims and families still await answers and seek justice. Follow law enforcement, detectives, and forensic experts as they relentlessly seek to solve these mysteries.

Volume #11 includes . . .

Buried in Plain Sight: Dennis Day was once a child dancing his way into millions of hearts on The Mickey Mouse Club. But his final curtain call came decades later, under hauntingly different circumstances. Buried secrets, questionable investigations, and a disturbing cast of characters turned this once-joyful entertainer’s life into a real-life mystery.

Lake Bodom Murders: Take a deep dive into one of Finland’s darkest mysteries, still unsolved, and still haunting. Four friends went camping seeking fun and freedom. By morning, only one would survive—badly injured, yet forever marked by the tragedy. The brutal murders left no clear answers, and a chilling legacy of suspects, theories, and shadows that followed the lone survivor to trial years later.

The Silent Witnesses: Look into the haunting story of a murder mystery that refuses to be forgotten. The Lumber Baron Inn in Denver, once a symbol of grandeur, hides a dark mystery beneath its charming Victorian facade. In 1970, two young women were brutally murdered in this historic mansion, their killer never found. Decades later paranormal investigators and curious amateur sleuths have felt chilling presences and heard whispers from the past, hoping to unveil the truth behind this unsolved case.. . . plus 13 more shocking, true crime stories

A Word of Warning

The explicit details of these murders come directly from eyewitness accounts, interviews, police reports, court transcripts, crime scenes, and autopsy reports. They contain disturbing facts that may not be suitable for all listeners.

Prepare to be captivated by the chilling accounts of these true crime cases.

Outstanding

Even though the conclusions were not there the stories were entertaining. The narrator was excellent!

Great book

I am really liking this series and have read/listened to all the books so far. I really like that there are cases that I have never heard about before so it's nice to not hear the same cases over and over again. I am docking 1 star because I feel like the narrator/production team should make sure to learn how to pronounce locations before recording it it a book. I'm from Wisconsin and I had a really hard time listening to chapter 12 about Little Lord Fauntleroy because the narrator kept pronouncing the city as Wau-kee-sa when it is actually pronounced Waa-kuh-shaa, the case was one that I had not heard of before so I was really interested in hearing about it but.was having a hard time because of how the narrator was pronouncing it. Other than that the only other thing is I wish it wouldn't include chapters from the other book series since I haven't finished all of those books yet. Other than that I really enjoyed the book and look forward to volume 12.
