About this listen

When a spy dials a wrong number, could it be the connection of a lifetime?

Leigh is a secret agent in peril whose life depends on reaching her agency's emergency hotline. But when she dials the local public radio pledge drive by mistake, a spy-obsessed office temp named Amanda becomes her only hope for rescue.

Amanda thinks it's an exciting game of make-believe until dangerous elements from Leigh's past force her to reveal her true identity and take Amanda with her on the run.

The answers lie in Stockholm, but whether Leigh should be more frightened of the Russian mobsters who want her dead or Amanda when she realizes she's been lied to is anyone's guess. One thing is certain. If they can figure out a way to work together, the seasoned agent and the savvy civilian just might make the perfect team!

Very Good. Sequel, Please!!

I loved this book. I really didn’t want it to end. I always enjoy the humor Miranda Macleod brings without washing out the seriousness that is also offered.
I so liked the premise of the story and the direction the author took it in. Though this is not a cliffhanger situation, I seriously think this could be a fantastic series!!
Stephanie Murphy is perfect!

So Much Fun

What a fun story. The uniqueness of the storyline it made it that much more enjoyable. It’s not a romance/love story. It has a little spice but a lot of adventure. Totally recommend!

I Spy

Leigh is a spy and is trapped in the trunk of a wrecked car trying to remember the emergency hotline number for the Agency. Amanda is working the night shift of the NPR station during a fundraiser who loves all things about spying and spies. It’s the start of a great adventure while fleeing a Russian mobster. Marvelous author and narration.

Excellent

I loved this book and I think I will get the 2 others in the series. Miranda MacLeod has definitely an amazing imagination to create a story like this one. Nd Stephany Murphy knows how to narrating it very well.

halerious

Loved the book. Only Maranda McLeod could come up with this story. The narrator, however. made me wish I had bought the print version.

Ok book.

A bit unrealistic, but decent read. The MC, Amanda was problematic. She was whiney at times, demanded to be 'read in' in a law enforcement operation and be part of the 'team'. Which in itself is ridiculous, sure let's toss in a civilian to help with a case. Yes I know it's fictional, sooo I will overlook that part. The narrator was sub-par, hard to distinguish between the characters. The romance was vanilla, no real sex scenes.
