Publisher's summary

The stage is set for success… and heartbreak.

Maxine Gardner is a rock-and-roll legend who hasn’t had a hit in years. She’s on a mission to get her old band back together for a once in a lifetime reunion tour that could save her floundering career. The problem? One band member is dead, and the other hates her guts. To get this tour off the ground, Max must put her fate in the hands of a younger woman who could easily steal the spotlight from her for good.

Jasmine Weathers is a gifted musician whose mother and aunt were founding members of one of the hottest girl bands of all time. Following her mother’s untimely death, Jade’s overprotective aunt is determined she choose a stable career with the local symphony. But Jade was born to be a rock star. She’s willing to do whatever it takes to live her dream…even partner with the one person she shouldn’t trust—the woman who ruined her mom’s career.

Their agreement is supposed to be nothing but a means to an end. Yet the more time Max and Jade spend making music together, the harder it becomes to ignore the attraction crackling beneath every note. Is it possible everything they’ve believed about the other is completely wrong? This tour could lead to true love, or it could tear the band apart...along with their hearts.

How much will they be willing to sacrifice for success?

Don’t miss this scorching enemies-to-lovers, age-gap, rock-star romance by best-selling lesbian romance authors Miranda MacLeod and Em Stevens.

Loved this

Loved every thing about this book. An age difference, a non-femme, sex, & music. I only wish there was an actual soundtrack.

Pretty good.

Solid book, a little angst, a little laughter and a lot of love and romance. I enjoyed the story and most of the characters.(Cindy was annoying🤷‍♀️) I'd definitely recommend this book.
Lori Prince was fabulous as usual.

Loved This

Loved the chemistry between the two main characters. Could of been more romance but honestly it all flowed great and I really loved the story overall.

I liked it

This was good. Reminded my of “The Duet” by Harper Bliss, although I actually liked this book better due to its length and characterization. I prefer novels or audiobooks to be on the lengthier side, feels like I get to spend more time with the characters and the story has more room to breathe. I’d say this novel was the perfect length. Overall, I thought “Another Stupid Love Song” was sexy, exciting, and it got me to emotionally invest (the hallmark of a story well-told!). I’ll be re-listening to this.

Lori Prince did a good job, although she has a habit of doing this drawn-out vocal fry thing when she’s reading sexy or suggestive scenes that can be annoying and not at all sexy. I still think she’s one of the best narrators in WLW fiction.

Great Lyrics

Are harder than writing about past feelings. A great member of the band and the daughter you hope to be rescued by. Of course great narration by L. Prince.
