Victoria Palmer's Review.

such a heartwarming tale fit for the whole family. Who could resist an irresistible orphan? I highly recommend it. great storyline, vivid unforgettable characters and plenty of suspense. I enjoyed the narration. You'll be hooked.

Street urchin rescue

This is a short but unusually interesting audiobook about a street urchin rescued by a kind, powerful benefactor. It is a story that tells more of compassion and kindness to others, than a definitive plot. The action in the story feels secondary, like a byline rather than integral to the story. I was not keen on the narration, I found his voice distracting. The sing-song, somewhat drawn out quality of his voice failed to impart the any tension, emotion or action for me. Having said all this I did enjoy this story but, even though the author wrapped up the threads at the end, it still felt incomplete, feeling a bit like a long prequel to a much bigger story. I received the audiobook at no cost and under no obligation to review.

Street Fox is Street SmartWise and Clever

Where does Street Fox rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The deep meaning and hope is sturdy. It provides a strong foundation in the Erdemen world building. I'm intrigued to check out the series, which a short, in-between, or prequel usually fails to move me to do. I enjoyed the story, not the narration.

What did you like best about this story?

The hope, kindness, and goodwill of those who have towards a young man who has nothing. It's part of the calling to the full length novels, with the promise of fully developed, well-rounded characters.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

No. the narrator read it like it was a poem. Yet flatter and dull. I wouldn't pick up another audio with this narrator.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It's less than 45 minutes and took me two mornings to complete, to start my day with my cup of coffee. With a different narrator, I may have been more eager to listen while I prepared for work.

Any additional comments?

The talented C.J. Brightley has brought a whole world into a short story. I can't recommend this audio, but would suggest picking up the ebook!

Please sir, I want some more...

What did you love best about Street Fox?

The story was outstanding. I am in love even without it being Jolly Ole London.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Street Fox?

When Fox accepted an embrace, brought on a glimmer of tears.

What aspect of Fred Wolinsky’s performance would you have changed?

It was actually a bit irritating. Had the story not been so wonderful, I would have stopped listening.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Family goes beyond blood.

Any additional comments?

I KNOW there is more to the tale and the writer needs to just behave and GIVE IT UP!!!!! Free Audiobook given. Great review earned. Kudos!!!
