About this listen

Juliet Reid wasn't able to save her murdered brother almost 10 years ago. Can she stop an ice-cold killer in their tracks a decade later?

Nine and a half years ago, Juliet's talented brother, Fin, should have returned home. He didn't make it. When Juliet set out to find him that snowy winter evening, she made a devastating discovery.

Now, Juliet returns to the small town of Parrish, Ohio, to celebrate her 25th birthday with her parents. But when she arrives, she receives the shocking news that her father appears to have committed suicide. Why was he so distant shortly before his death? And why was he suddenly asking questions about Fin before his brutal murder?

As Juliet tries to come to terms with another family tragedy, she finds herself at the center of a series of spine-tingling events. What chilling secrets did her father uncover? And can she stop an ice-cold killer who's determined to keep them hidden?

Not as good as her others

This was my second book by her
The first was amazing ! This one has toooooo many characters- you didn’t form much bonds and often thinking - wait who was that again? And with only one narrator it was too many characters to follow and for the book to make sense X it was good - and would have been - however too I felt the author spent sooo much time describing what they wore each time - it felt annoying and like , why does that have to drag on??? I really don’t need to know all outfits alllll the time .

Enjoyable

This book was an easy listen. Good storyline and performance. My second book by the author and would listen/read another.

Average story

Longer than it needed to be. Predictable and a lot of characters to keep track of. Lots of drama for a small town with a couple of families. No real surprises. Plot and characters were just ok. From the description, I thought the story would be better.

Don't waste your credit

This book should have been on the free list! I can't believe a seasoned author wrote this. Totally stupid story line. The dialog between characters was grade school . The narrator couldn't show the right emotion for the conversations that were being told. Too many characters were introduced with background, hard to keep track. Each character's hair color and eye color was explained. Very bizarre.
