The Affects of Domestic Violence

I wasn't sure what to expect when I got this book but it was an interesting, yet sad, look into the domestic violence of one family and how it impacted the lives of so many other people. It was well written, and the narration was well done. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Understanding the Suffer the Little Children - 😕

Suffer the Little Children by Valerie Allen

Dr. Allyson Fremont is sent to collect her findings of a child who has been accused of murder.

As she dissects the case, her own demons come knocking.

Will she find a way from innocence, abuse and violence back to a place where some innocence remains.?

I enjoyed the narration by Sheila Cavalette. It was straightforward and empathetic to the material of the book.

I would recommend to my friends but only if they are aware that it is a somber book.

If this were a movie it would be rated PG for the unsettling nature of the topic at hand.
