Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances by Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle, is a collection of three interrelated audiobooks about teenage romance. The first audiobook is The Jubilee Express, by Maureen Johnson, which is written from the perspective of 16-year-old Jubilee Dougal. When her parents are arrested during a shopping event that went out of control, Jubilee is put on a train to Florida to spend Christmas with her grandparents. This is far from ideal for a variety of reasons, first and foremost because Jubilee will miss her boyfriend Noah's Christmas Eve party. Unfortunately, she has no choice.
On the train, Jubilee makes a new friend, Jeb, who's headed to Graceland, North Carolina to see his girlfriend, Addie. Just outside of Graceland, a blizzard causes the train to wreck. Jubilee, (and, later Jeb), hike to a nearby Waffle House where she's welcomed by Keun, the assistant manager. There, Jubilee meets Stuart, a young man who offers to let her stay at his home. His mother wouldn't want anyone to spend Christmas alone. Ready to leave the Waffle House, Jubilee agrees. Before they depart, a miserable Jeb, whose phone isn't working, asks them to tell Addie, if they happen to run into her, that he's on his way. Though it seems thoroughly unlikely that Jubilee and Stuart will run into Addie - who they don't even know, in any case - they agree.

Story
At some point, every one of us embarks on a journey to find love. We meet people, date, get into and out of relationships, all with the hope of finding someone with whom we share a deep connection. This seems standard now, but it’s wildly different from what people did even just decades ago. Single people today have more romantic options than at any point in human history. With technology, our abilities to connect with and sort through these options are staggering. So why are so many people frustrated?

Story
Face it, your attitudes about marriage and the path to marriage are probably wrong. Some you've inherited, some you've simply bought - hook, line, and sinker - and some you've made up yourself. They have translated into bad action (or no action) in dating and relationships. But it's not too late; you can break the cycle of dating dysfunction and learn to honor marriage, marry well, and live intentionally while you wait.

Story
Written during a long wait, this book opens up Cheryl's painfully honest, personal journals. She explores what it's like to enlist in God's Marriage Boot Camp, and how to survive singlehood year after solitary year. She wrestles with her Creator over multiple best friends that never see her "that way." Then there are those lists of what she wanted - you know, the ones she revised a billion times then laminated for safekeeping. She watches, bewildered, as much younger women find love that seems to elude her.

Story
Every writer wants to create timeless, memorable stories and characters who feel like real friends. The masterclass is no further away than your TV. Classic television holds up because of one thing: great writing. Fancy sets, innovative effects, or famous actors come and go over time, but well-written characters we connect with stand the test of time. No show in recent history has done that better than the 90s classic Friends.

Story
After years of teaching intermediate students who never seemed to improve, I decided to find out what the problem was. Essentially, intermediate students get stuck because learning at this stage is a different type of learning than at the beginner stage. You have mastered the grammar and the basic vocabulary, but most textbooks just carry on like nothing has changed. However, what you need at the intermediate stage is not just more dry grammar and lists of vocabulary.

There are four characters in every story: the victim, the villain, the hero, and the guide. These four characters live inside us. If we play the victim, we’re doomed to fail. If we play the villain, we will not create genuine bonds. But if we play the hero or guide, our lives will flourish. The hard part is being self-aware enough to know which character we are playing. In this book, Donald will use his own experiences to help you recognize if the character you are currently surfacing is helping you experience a life of meaning.
