About this listen

"Steel and Shadow"

San Francisco, 2015. A group of friends celebrating a windfall in their musical careers takes a wrong turn down a deserted alleyway to find their path blocked by two creatures out of nightmare. Surviving only through the arcane intervention of a cryptic savior, they find themselves thrust unwillingly into the center of a war of extermination between two mystical races.

"The Gauntlet"

Rory loved his best friend Takeshi for as long as he can remember, though he never had the courage to speak of it. When Rory is captured, his soul hangs in the balance as the Nightwalkers delve into ancient magic to corrupt his spirit. Takeshi attempts a desperate rescue, but is unprepared to face the enemy that waits in the depths of the vampire fortress. In the end, his own damnation may be the key to Rory's salvation.

"Night and Day"

Nick was surprised to see Rory at a Christmas party so many years after the other musician disappeared from public life. Renewing their friendship, he remains completely unaware that Rory is not at all what he appears to be. Nick's ignorance costs him dearly when Rory's enemies attack. To save Nick, Rory and his allies must find a way to triumph over the first and greatest of the vampire lords, before Nick's soul is twisted forever by the torments of the Prince of Nightmares.

I never could have imagined being more enthralled with each book but yes, you Arshad have captivated me and your telling of it Greg was perfection! All the feelings!

Keeps getting better

I love how we get the backstories of everyone which lead us up to book 1. I love Lorcan and I think he would be the perfect mate for Nick. I hated what Nick was going through at the end of the story. I have to run off to the next story as I need to see where things go from here.

Read Sunrise before Sunset

As I said in my review for Sunset, I highly recommend to read/listen to this book first before starting with book one. Sunrise is where it all begun and you get the answers to so much that arnt even mentioned or just slightly hinted at in Sunset. This book is where it all begun for our menny main charachters and how they end up where they are in Sunset, and the menny flashbacks goes into contex and makes sense (finaly).
This is by far my favorite in the series, but there are a lot of events in this book, so at times I had to take a break to absorb it all. Just like the other books in this series this is a light m/m fantasy with no real erotica, stays at kisses and toutches but with no sex scenes. Its a really good book and Greg Tremblay did a awesome job to keep track of them all like in Sunset! Really recommend this book!
