About this listen

He captured a fae prince. But can he capture his heart?

Lochlann Wilde walks in the shadow of his father, a legendary summoner who commanded mythical beasts in battle. But Locke isn't legendary. He’s barely a summoner, never passing his academy’s trial of the elements.

And then he accidentally summons a fae prince with a beautiful body and a bad attitude.

Sylvan is fiery and ferocious, stronger than anything Locke has ever encountered. And hotter, too. But time is running out. Locke must tame the prince’s wild heart. If he fails his trial, he’ll lose his inheritance and ruin his family's name.

Without Sylvan, Locke could lose his chance to become a true summoner...along with his shot at true love.

Prince of Flowers is a contemporary fantasy romance with an HFN ending. Can a snarky summoner and a fickle fae prince endure mythical creatures, meddling goddesses, the fury of the elements, and each other? Only one way to find out. If you like sorcery, spice, and everything nice, you’ve come to the right place. Start the Wild Hearts series today.

A Great Story

I love the book so much! The descriptions, the adventures, and even the steamy parts. A good handful of times, I find myself bored by other love stories, so this was a great find to add to my collection! It even made me blush at some points, so it definitely is a winner in my book! And so well narrated too! 😊

Great story

With one exception, the near constant discussion of how attractive the MC felt the other MC was. Every other second it was mentioned, including at absolutely ridiculous times like being chased and hunted and about to be killed, the MC can only focus on how attractive the Fae is. It was so repetitive and utterly ridiculous that I began to just roll my eyes and groan but then I got a headache from that. If the author took out all the remarks on the fae’s attractiveness and the things he wanted to do to him the book could easily cut two hours out. The actual story was more of a set up for what I assume the real story will be, as it’s a HFN ending with the reason behind the big bad left open ended. Greg was amazing as usual, and he did a great job with all the constant repetitive remarks and making it seem logical. My other issue is, the MC has been at the school for years longer than everyone else, and he acts like it’s because there is some issue with his talents and that he is just not capable of summoning decent creatures but repeatedly states he hasn’t done the work to remember his spells etc, and how he needs a cheat sheet for them, so I just got the impression the MC wants the power of a great summoner with out doing the actual work. He’s stated he’s taken the same classes again and again, and how he hasn’t bothered to do the work but then complains because the teachers and students expect him to be great due to his father and how much he wants to be able to call these amazing creatures but can only get so so ones. The entire time I just kept thinking so do the work, you can’t be lazy and great, the greats worked at their craft to get good at them, not sitting around playing video games all day. Just a lot of odd choices in this books writing.

An excellent read.

Books with Greg Boudreaux as the narrator rarely, if ever, will steer you you wrong.

Normalizingtaboo relationships sensually

At first review I was in love. Nazri takes me to a place I have never been before. Unconventional in his achievements Locke rebels against his desire every chance he gets. This book kept me turnt up for a week.

Amazing!

This is one of the best books I have read in a very long time, the characters truly come to life and the plot is unpredictable and all the right ways!

I highly recommend listening, and cannot give it any higher praise!

Well written and wonderfully performed.

The story line is amazing and the narrator is very talented. This is my first fantasy romance and I listened the all 4 books one after another. Can't wait for book 5. 😍

academy adventures

This new series is connected to the Arcane Hearts series, which I adore. Greg Boudreaux is a masterful voice actor and he excels in fantasy/paranormal genres. Hands down one of my top favorite narrators and this performance is no exception.

With the connection to Arcane Hearts, I was excited to jump in. I appreciated the academy setting and that our MC Locke is older. He's feeling the pressure of living up to his legendary and aloof father, which has caused some great procrastination on his part to complete his studies and achieve his crest. Sylvain is our unsuspecting fae prince who is his own brand of hot mess, alternating between arrogance and shyness. And has secrets.

Overall I liked the story. It takes place over only 4 days, so suspend belief a bit that they hate on each other, even at the end, to some kind of relationship. The parts I didn't love- SO.MUCH.FOCUS on Sylvain's physical beauty. Which of course renders Locke an idiot. I also didn't love Locke taking the blame for most of his reactions to situations and Sylvain's actions. I thought his reactions were very understandable.

I'll definitely be reading the next book in the series. I'm wanting to know more about the headmasters and the Withering and that blasted Aphrodite. But I'm hoping the focus is more on their personalities and the quests and less on their ...assets.
