About this listen

From best-selling novelist Brett Battles comes the conclusion of the Rewinder Trilogy.

Denny Younger. Historian. Time Traveler.

Prisoner.

There is nothing Denny wants more than to repair the damage former rewinder Lidia has done to history.

Her manipulations have thrown the time line he knows into chaos, and now he's locked away in an unfamiliar world, without the device that would allow him to fix what has been destroyed. Will Denny be able to bring back the life he knew and the people he loves, or will he be trapped in this violent time line forever?

Only time will tell.

excellent book. Recommended for all readers. I listen to it with my teenage daughter and we loved it. I had to go on extra drives just so that I could get it finished. Loved it

engaging. Exciting. On the edge of my toes.

This book was just as tense as book 2 but, fortunately, this time we get a satisfying ending without a cliffhanger! I felt like this book wraps up the story arch extremely well and I am happy with how things turned out even if it wasn't how I expected it might go. If you were frustrated in any way by book 2 or its ending, this book is a must read (the same if you weren't bothered by book 2). Unsurprisingly, narration by Vikas Adam is perfect!

Satisfying ending, great follow-up to book 2!

I am an avid Syfy reader. Time travel is my favorite of the various storylines. This Brett Batt trilogy is amongst the best, it's new and fresh, full of adventure and excitement.

Exceptional! An original Time travel story

I won't spoil anything. This book's story and it's narration was greatly satisfying. Where book one was just okay, the story in the second and third book and Denny's journey just accelerated from then on out and kept me riveted right up to the end.

I thought the time travel mechanics were a little off in the first book, but they become a tad bit more palatable by book 3. Just don't overthink it and if you can keep up with what happens in book 2 then kudos for you, because book 3 let's off the gas slightly. Either way, know it's good if you wish there were more. If you're reading this then I didn't have to tell you to stick it out until the end.

Satisfying Ending!

That horrid snob girl from the Institute who has it in for Denny has made about a dozen changes to the time line that Denny has chosen to make permanent. Denny has to discover what she did then go back and stop her so she can't make them. He has to be sure to undo each and every one of her tangled changes or the time line won't come out right. And even if he kills her at one event, she is still there at the others.

But Denny is caught and imprisoned, separated from his chaser, and things are looking pretty grim and impossible. Nevertheless! Denny is one clever boy. How he decides to deal with snob girl is quite innovative. Then the ending is actually a surprise, totally not what you'd think, and it makes you stop and think about time, and all the things you wish you could go back and change.

I'd never heard of Vikas Adam before this, but he did an awesome job voicing everyone from the young people to the old, the males and females, the snobs and the meek. Good narration.

I can recommend this series to anyone who likes time travel. It's a great Youth series that older folks can enjoy as well.

Time travel-- is this the end or the beginning?

Brett Battles has written another great installment in the Rewinder series. This addition took many twists and turns and kept me guessing until the end. Vikas Adam gave a wonderful performance bringing it all to life. I highly recommend this book/audiobook to sci-fi fans.

A bit predictable, a bit convoluted, but overall a good page-turner nevertheless. Worth the time.
