Every book in this series makes me laugh and smile. The narrator has a pleasant voice and she if the perfect person to narrate this book. I hope more of this series becomes available. I love all the characters especially Gertie. But they are all wonderful.

I have been in love with this series since the very beginning. These books are all LOL funny. If you’re new to this series than you really should begin with book #1-Louisiana Longshot and read them in order, however if you begin the narrator with introduce the key characters and relevant information. I love that Jana DeLeon does that because I have yet to see that in any other series I have read. I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series.

This is a great story, fantastic ending. My only complaint would be there are too many characters in the main storyline. And I guess since Fortune is no longer with the CIA, every character has to be introduced and explained their position in the story…which makes the plot very confusing. It’s so much easier to just go for “the agents” who needs no introduction.

I think the storyline should head back to the CIA and that puts everyone under one roof. It’s easier to explain.

Overall, it’s well written and enjoyable. Very detailed.

Jana DeLeon has crafted yet another great storyline in her Miss Fortune series. Her characters, as always, are well developed and quickly seem to be friends rather than characters. Cassandra Campbell, as always gave a stellar performance as she brought the story to life and gave distinct voices to the characters. The only problem I had was finishing this
book/audiobook knowing I’d have to wait for the next installment. I highly recommend this to cozy mystery fans.
