About this listen

The definitive guide to catching free bees using swarm traps and bait hives. A comprehensive how-to for beekeepers.

Based on the fact that bees will occupy a cavity of about 40 liters, a swarm trap is made to create the ideal space for a wild swarm to occupy. This way the bees come to the beekeeper so that the beekeeper doesn't have to go hunt swarms.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Interested in Bee keeping? When the narration began, my first thought was...ugh, boring narrative! But soon my husband and I were riveted. Amidst the importation of lots of info about the subject, the narrator often interjected notes of humor, unexpected and refreshing. Not just a listing of fact and opinion, the author obviously enjoys his subject and sharing his knowledge with others.

Fun and informative!

It’s too short to use a credit but well worth the cash price. Lots of good information. I like his take on safety. Good performance for an author.

Buy but don’t use a credit

Loved it! But I read it a day too late.
My nuc I bought in April, apparently had a very active Queen and decided to swarm and leave, yesterday.

who knew, a 2 month old Nuc could get that big, that quickly?

It was heartbreaking, and frustrating, as they lighted upon a tree branch that was too high to reach, and we didnt have another hive ready.

If I had read this book a day earlier, I may have saved thousands of bees to establish a new hive.

The book was wonderful with many tips and hacks.

For the bee enthusiast
