This story follows Lisa Franklin, when she get the opportunity to sing along side Pippa Lane. There she meets Jon Lansdon the guy who she falls for.
The story revolves around four characters Pippa, Jon, Lisa and Clive. The author surprised me when we are told something about Jon since I was not expecting it and it had plenty of tension of will they get together want they and she had me guessing to the very end.
Usually, it's the female character that I find annoying or feel like slapping not so in this case. Jon had me wanting to strangle him at times but he did things for a reason which we find out later.
I loved this story because it is realistic in human nature. Some people do things that get our blood pressure up but it is part of being human and the author shows this in this book.
I loved it and would highly recommend it.
The narrators voice suited this book however she paused to many times (usually after a sentence/ small paragraph) through out the story and unfortunately I could not get absorbed into the book because of it.
