Publisher's summary

Young Tabitha Sparks has the most wonderful life that any little girl could ask for. She has loving parents, a kind tutor, and a comfortable home. But, as Tabitha ventures into the woods to play with her animal friends, her life takes a sudden, mysterious turn. You see, when Tabitha returns home - well - there simply is no home.

Taken by Child Services to live with her cold-natured Aunt Demonia Van Vile, Tabitha learns to adapt to a new life in a seemingly lifeless manor. Yet she learns that within every dark chamber, a new light can shine. Within this dingy, dreary new home, Tabitha stumbles upon something brilliant - something she could have never imagined. She finds a mysterious door to everywhere that, when entered, leads her to a world of nothing but doors - one door for every place in the universe.

Through this door to everywhere, Tabitha must venture to find her missing parents and the home that she desperately misses!

An exciting adventure of fantasy, mystery, wonder, joy and family, Tabitha Sparks and the Door to Everywhere is an instant classic that you and your family will cherish for generations to come!

Great first novel in the Tabitha Sparks world!

Disclaimer: I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to Kathleen Powell and Jae El Foster for this free copy. All quotes in this review are taken from the Advanced Reader Copy and may change in final publication.

I just have to say I really appreciate Powell reaching out to me directly to review this audiobook, and I have to say that she did such an amazing job with this narration! I think she really captured the voice of Tabitha Sparks perfectly and I just felt like she is a really great audiobook narrator. I look forward to listening to more of her work, and I really hope that she continues to narrate the rest of this trilogy.

I also am so glad that I got to enjoy the world of Tabitha Sparks and meet a new childhood hero that really went through a lot of trials and tribulations during this novel. The book mentioned how much Tabitha was a very intelligent little girl, and she definitely is. I don’t even think I could be able to handle even a fraction of the things that she was able to handle at her age. From her parents and her entire house basically disappearing one day, to having to live with her aunt Demonia, who really lives up to her name. Come on people, that name just tells you that there’s some sort of evil afoot. Who would name their child Demonia?! Clearly her parents knew that she was going to cause some problems as an adult.

I was also really glad that even though Tabitha lost her parents in such a mysterious way – and thank goodness it wasn’t something like they passed away or anything, but they just… disappeared out of thin air really – that Tabitha still had an adult in her life that was there to help her and continue to keep her safe in any way possible. Her tutor was absolutely amazing and we need more people like her in the world. Just saying.

All in all, I think this was a great first novel in the Tabitha Sparks trilogy, and I look forward to listening to the rest of the series.
