Publisher's summary

I can only run from my past for so long. Eventually my Demons always find me.

Unfortunately, that Demon has hired three insufferable dragon shifters to bring me back to him.

I just have to hide my secrets a little longer. I just have to pretend to help these assholes find the person they're looking for without letting them know the truth.

They're on the hunt for a dangerous Mage.

Just wait until they find out the Mage they're hunting is actually me...

A fun and sexy story!

The story starts with the heroine finding three dragon eggs and raising them. As you can imagine, they keep her plenty busy. Arlow has had a rough past and while she’s jaded, her smart and sassy personality is very addicting! The story is funny and witty, but also has undertones of pain and sadness. It is very well written and I can’t wait to read the next one!

It’s a little short for my taste, but at least they price it more reasonable than other books this size. I’ve already purchased book two and can’t wait to see where their journey takes them.

Taming

Taming by A.K. Koonce
I found myself emerged into the paranormal world of dragons shifters. I loved the banter. I loved how she got slowly attached to her dragons / men and all the playfulness they created in her house. You also see the danger that she’s in, how she must be selfish and how the twist comes into play. Bite the hand that feeds you was all I kept playing in my head with that twist in play. I loved the underhanded banter between her and the old lady.
The narrator was great! I’ll be looking into more by this authors work.

Yessssss!

This book wrecked me in the best possible way! i loved lo and her dragons. I loved the twist at then end. lo is a relatable character, and understands she is selfish, but you see where feelings prevail. I already preordered the second one!

Spectacular! Loved this start to the series

This was truly a fantastic first start to this series! I loved Arlow so much and her three dragons!! The storyline has a lot of depth and I enjoyed how the relationship between the three guys formed felt natural. Totally recommend!!

Plus... I loved the narrators for the audiobook that was done for it. Perfect to listen to while I cleaned so I didn’t have to wait for the story! :)

good story good narrator

Definitely agree that it is hard to know whether or not the the main character is thinking in her head or talking out loud . l I believe that it is a good story but a little bit hard to understand on who she's talking to her if she's thinking to herself narrator was good.

Well I mean it’s a book!!

The frustrating parts for me was that there was a fear of this man, it does not explain a single thing about why except that “she was stupid enough to love someone” one thing is vaguely talked about but don’t want to spoil it I guess. The problem is that there is no reason to keep the details a secret. The end result is that she is terrified of the man...but it’s not real to me because she does not give reasons WHY...WHY...WHY...WHY???? Is not even strategically suspenseful it just did not click! I don’t know how to explain it but it’s wildly irritating! Another thing that frustrated me was that I could never tell when she was talking to herself in her head, and when she was talking to the guys or anyone else. The narrator used the same voice for her internal monologue and when she spoke to people, which would be fine if it explained when she was speaking to herself and when she was speaking to others. Most of the time you had to figure it out by the response or lack there of from the people around her. Lastly the ending, omg it was so jumbled with unnecessary words that I am still honestly NOT sure what happened... that is not said in a good, “omg I can’t believe that happened” kind of way. I mean it was supposed to be this crazy cliffhanger and honestly it was written so confusing and jumbled that I couldn’t even make out what was happening. I would not recommend this book
