New narrator . . . no accents for our royals . .

Lola has found herself in a world beyond her imagination. She finds that she has been thrust in to a world that does not want her. She finds that things are not what they seem. Xavier in this installment seems more like a wimp at times and then a scared little boy. His alpah seems to have left the building. Though it has brief visits. This was a short read and the flip and flop of Xavier was the only real thing to count on. Lola was too trusting.

I was disappointed upon hearing Xavier for the first time. Listening to his parents and cousin. There were no accents to go with the rich history that was suppose to revolve around these people. And there were times when I was not sure if the person talking was male of female. Not good.

book 2 - cliffhanger

So, I think I would have been better prepared had I read book 1 first but since I didn't and I still LOVED this read / listen. The storyline is great. I loved these characters. Lola is not afraid to let Prince Xavier know what's what and I love that she is fierce but also has fears and insecurities - her character is so well written and feels real. Prince Xavier has a lot of character growth in this read and plenty of secrets. The narration is wonderfully done and I love the dual point of view. I really wish I could go back and listen to book 1 and get the back ground and I definitely want to read what's next as this ends in a cliffhanger.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Good Book!

I wish I had listened to book 1 first and there is a cliffhanger at the end of the book. But it was still an enjoyable listen.

FUN TIME TAMING MY PRINCE OR PRINCESS

J.S. Cooper did a better job writing this short story, which is book number two in this apparent series. It seems Prince Xavier's intentions are made to Lola as to why he wanted a fake fiancée. It was for the sex and entry into his BSDM club.

In today's moral compass, it seems silly to make Lola into a fake fiancée and Xavier see this before Lola.

I would like to see where J.S. Cooper is taking us ("down this rabbit hole"), in the third book. The story is a fast read, I did it in one sitting.

OH WOW!!

This book was everything, the sense of humor the main characters portrayed was good banter, and her innocence just brought it all together.

"Tame him before the fairytale could begin.",

Who was your favorite character and why?

Every character brings their own uniqueness to the story.

Which scene was your favorite?

“Good evening.” I smiled at them both. I was not going to let that bitch know that she had affected me in any way. “Nice to see you again, Lola.” She smiled widely. “Been doing any trotting lately?” “No.” I smiled back at her. “I wore my stallion out, so he needed a break.”

Cooper, J. S. (2014-08-05). Taming My Prince Charming (Finding My Prince Charming Book 2) (p. 194). . Kindle Edition.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Listened to the audiobook in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

Prologue by J.S Cooper
I always thought it would be romantic to be whisked away on a private jet by a handsome man. Only I never expected the man to be my professor. I never expected to be his fake fiancée. And I certainly never expected the games that he would play. Yes, being swept off of my feet is exciting and thrilling. However, it’s not everything I imagined it to be. I’ve always dreamt about meeting my Prince Charming. I just never realized I’d have to tame him before the fairytale could begin.

Blast it all to Hades and back. WTH??? I am slowly walking to the cliff now while reading the book. Now I have to stand at the edge of the rocky cliff with the ocean below pounding the rocks until the next bloody book. UGHHHHHH this isn't
happening. There were plenty of times I wanted to smack Xavier myself for being careless with Lola especially when he takes her to that club.
The plot was well written. Characters development throughout the story has the perfect dynamics. J.S. Cooper has an excellent way of writing her storyline.
I went to her website to read the preview to the next book in this series. I feel a tad better now.

Sexy prince

Would you consider the audio edition of Taming My Prince Charming to be better than the print version?

I only listened to this audio and also for the Finding My Prince Charming I did not read the books

What was one of the most memorable moments of Taming My Prince Charming?

The party Xavier take Lola to

Which character – as performed by Rebecca Roberts – was your favorite?

Lola

Any additional comments?

I love the chemistry between Xavier and Lola… I just wish he would stop playing so many games with her and tell her his true feelings… Lola needs to grow more of a back bone and stand up to Xavier and stick to what she says to him… She’s so wishy- washy with him some times and to clueless….

Violeta is so evil, such a nasty jealous bitch. I don’t know how any man keep her around other than using her for arm candy. Lola is holding her own with her though, for the most part.

I can’t wait for Sabastian to come to the palace and see what’s going to happen then… He’s the only one who has truly ever been nice to Lola besides the King.

I’m so excited for book 3 release.
