About this listen

In this follow up to book Agent Zero in the Kent Steele spy series, Target Zero takes us on another wild, action-packed ride across Europe as elite CIA agent Kent Steele is summoned to stop a biological weapon before it devastates the world - all while grappling with his own memory loss.

Life returns only fleetingly back to normal for Kent before he finds himself summoned by the CIA to hunt down terrorists and stop another international crisis - this one even more potentially devastating than the last. Yet with an assassin hunting him down, a conspiracy within, moles all around him and with a lover he can barely trust, Kent is set up to fail.

Yet his memory is quickly returning, and with it, flashes into the secrets of who he was, what he’d discovered - and why they are after him. His own identity, he realizes, may be the most perilous secret of all.

Enjoying this series, although more ...

Enjoying this series, although more independent thought suggested. For example, a woman would not be used for main part of an Islamic plot. Sure, she may think so, but Steele would not have believed this to be possible. Also, as soon as Steele remembered something was not right within the agency he would have moved his daughters out of potential harm ...away from agency people. All in all, I do like the series.

Scary to read in our environment

When was this book written? If you substituted the polio virus for the corona virus and the Syrians with Chinese, you almost get our current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic. Except the people in the book came out better than we have. It was a little frightening how this matched up with the current environment.

Keeps being good, light suspense.

The seriesso far is worth the time I spend listening. It is solid, light suspense reading, and its performance does not detract from the story.

Great Series

Great book but Narrator makes Kent sound weak & unsure at times. For a lead Character, I would expect him to sound much more sure of himself.
